Speaking of "years ago posts," time to confess that for the longest time after I joined, I was reading your name as "Bretrice" and thought you were a girl with an odd spelling for "Beatrice." Yeah, yeah, don't bother... I'll pinch myself.

We know where we don't want to go...
When we finally get there we'll be in a position to look at the options at the time. We're looking at something rural with a minimum of 1 acre. We want chooks,a vege garden and even some 4 legged edible animals.
The West is probably a no no, as is the South being a yuppies playground. Places with poor quality winter air are out too.

You're from Tasmania? My 2 aunts went to Tasmania in the 50s or so. I have loads of family members living there now. Don't even know them. I was too young when 2 cousins visited Holland.
