Youtube: a solution for the mess.

...last couple of months I've noticed that there's just a barrage of "suggested" content littering my Youtube home page. I mean- just smothering, YT's algorithm is like on Crack Cocaine plus anabolic steroids. Of course FB is like that too, I'll be clipping their wings as well.

Solution: Delete all watch/search history, then turn off History. Easy to do, YT will beg you to leave it on....be strong!

So is AI in YouTube videos. It should be mandatory to indicate it.
I think it is required, because if you look way down in the description box, you'll find a one-line disclaimer. It doesn't usually specifically say "AI-generated"; it'll say "some material altered" or something similar.

But I haven't see it on shorts, so the rule might only apply to videos over 2 minutes or something. I do see various AI program logos on a lot of shorts, though. And most of the AI crap is in the shorts.

Not my shorts. Not shorts you wear...I'm sure you know what I'm talking about.

Wishful thinking that I could do this. I need/like many of the suggested vids.

I think it's worse on a computer. There you get a page full of these things, while on my phone I have to scroll to see the next one. I watched crime stories a few times. Then the algorithm is like: Oh you like crime stories? Here are the next 10 ones. And then I just put em on: Don't want to see this and keep doing that until my algorithm is superb funny. Same on instagram.
