Yes and contrary to philosophic folk lore I can a see both at once. But I noticed the goat first. I believe the bird is a kookaburra.

I think many of us see a goat first because we see the "goat" text first, which makes us expect to see a goat in the image.

Looks to me like it is from an actual photo of a Kookaburra at an angle someone realized looked like a goat.

It's an interesting illusion. Most are drawings designed to hide one of perceptions. This one appears to be a photograph that just ended up being two things. Maybe it was photo shopped. That's possible too.

I saw the goat, and only the goat, for a long while.

Had to search and search, for a bird, as much as I love birds.

I don't think I ever would have seen the bird, if i hadn't been told there was one.

In addition, I assumed that everyone would say the same reply as me; would see only what I had seen.
What a metaphor and how foolish of me!

I was surprised that so many saw a goat first. I had to study it for several seconds before I saw a goat.
