Nice looking interior. My 71 Mustang had a similar color but slightly darker and it was called cinnamon. My Holdens all had bench seats so you could seat six, three in the front three in the back.

Cool car. Yeah, it was also fun going to the drive-in movies. Flop the front seat down, and just sit in the back seat like it was a lounger with your feet up. Good times.Similiar experience... 66 charger. Front and rear seats folded completely down. Handy to have your bed with you.

you had some lovely cars in the usa - we in UK were rather staid and serious
I've was told long ago, but I still don't know if it's true, that outdoor theaters would not allow Nash Ramblers into the theater.Well, in my defense, I felt that it was my civic duty to test out the Rambler seats for versatility, usefulness, and defects, in the event I was ever consulted for a review. For the historical record ......I found them to be quite a remarkable invention.![]()
Ha ha .... There were likely lots of things that weren't allowed in outdoor theaters.I've was told long ago, but I still don't know if it's true, that outdoor theaters would not allow Nash Ramblers into the theater.
It was just what girls did back during that era. If their date or steady guy gad a bench seat in front, she would sit next to him. If they were a steady couple, the guy would have one arm around his girlfriend and one arm to use to steer.I'm not surprised that she didn't like it. It's bad enough stretching out on bucket seats, then that gear lever has only place it could go! Tell me, did you think that her eyes watered up out of love?
