Yes, we've done that too.You can get caged feeders for the suet to stop the squirrels from stealing it.

I love the inflight photos you are getting Medusa. I’m glad you got this filmed bird feeder. It’s VERY entertaining. Thanks for sharing it with us.Got a few more fun pictures today.
I thought this one was funny because they look like someone just yelled, "Hey, you guys!"

You are getting a lot of different species for this time of year. I live in middle GA. My busiest time is end of February to October. My favorite is when the babies learn to fly and parents feed them on the feeder. Great pictures and videos.Got a few more fun pictures today.

Oh I LOVE the pictures of the female cardinal. I know the male is the prettiest but that female is gorgeous too. I had to look for the male cardinal when you said it was in the bushes. It’s just above the suet. How cool is that. She sure wears big girl pants out of the two of them
That IS a Junco for sure. A cute little guy.
It’s hard to get birds in flight but your camera has no problems with it. One bird I haven’t seen yet is a chickadee. We have a surplus of chickadees. Then again, they prefer black oiled sun flower seeds.
Thanks for showing us the birdies. I really miss feeding the birds and your sharing sure changes how I feel about it all.
Are those shelled sunflower seeds in the mix?Thank you for pointing out where the male Cardinal is; he is a bit small in the picture and I hadn't thought to do that.
Yeah, I wonder where the little Chickadees are? They are supposed to be around at this time of year, apparently. Hopefully, we'll get to see some soon. It is sunflower seeds we have in the feeder, but I don't know what type.
Thanks for saying that, Patty. I'm so glad; it's fun for me too.![]()
Oh right. I forgot that. It seems to be working just fine. I haven’t seen the squirrel on it for a while now.Yes, shelled sunflower seeds soaked in hot pepper oil.![]()
I know! And the camera hasn't picked up any squirrel action on still or video for days!Oh right. I forgot that. It seems to be working just fine. I haven’t seen the squirrel on it for a while now.
