I have a few portable recharging banks like this one that happens to be on sale at Amazon today. I used them during long international flights (10+ hours to Europe) to power our laptops. After reading your list I would say that water would be my weak spot.
I have enough food and prescriptions to last about a month with electricity and about two weeks without electricity.
Charging my phone and staying connected with the outside world would be a major concern.
The good news is that in 71 years, I’ve never faced a situation that I wasn’t able to muddle through.
Oh my ex and my sis bought a thing to charge your phones with a dynamo and it's radio and a flashlight. I'm gonna order one too.I have a few portable recharging banks like this one that happens to be on sale at Amazon today. They'll charge a phone a couple of times and can be recharged in a car. If you plug your phone into it while recharging the battery pack, both the pack and the phone will recharge.

I should add that they hold a charge for a long time, but I plug them in every three months or so to make sure they're fully charged.

I have enough to feed the whole flat now.for how many persons please?
I just bought 5 kilo hay and 10 kilo/22lbs dry rabbit food. It's only common sense to have a supply of tinned and packaged food. You never know when you might fall ill or have an accident. My main concern is food for my pets. I never wait until I've run out before stocking up.
I'll pluck dandelions for us and the rabbits. In WW2 they ate flower bulbs and wall paper.Whenever I think about food storage for survival scenarios, I wonder how in the world young people would fare. At least in well-developed countries, most of them don't know how to cook, or that there are such things as edible wild onions, mushrooms, weeds, flowers, and pine nuts and such.
I have one of these. It's a weather radio (in addition to a regular radio) as well.Oh my ex and my sis bought a thing to charge your phones with a dynamo and it's radio and a flashlight. I'm gonna order one too.

I wouldn't recommend wallpaper. In fact, wallpaper is a lot harder to find these days than dandelions.I'll pluck dandelions for us and the rabbits. In WW2 they ate flower bulbs and wall paper.
So many young folks live on fast food. They have no concept of cooking thrifty, healthy meals. It’ll be tough for them.Whenever I think about food storage for survival scenarios, I wonder how in the world young people would fare. At least in well-developed countries, most of them don't know how to cook, or that there are such things as edible wild onions, mushrooms, weeds, flowers, and pine nuts and such.
When those warnings and advisories go out, they should include urging seniors to teach young people how to cook and preserve and forage. Boomers would suddenly become pretty important, I think.
As for phone chargers, if connectivity satellites go down, a charger isn't going to be much help. And satellites would definitely be targeted.
That’s my feeling when it comes to extreme preppers. If boomers have food, those without may just come to take ours.
Money for what? They say you need 70 euro cash. What for? If the grocery stores are closed and there's no water I rather have food and water. If I can't cook and use the fridge anymore I have some canned fish and saucages for the kids and other food and a thing for the camping to cook on with gas.We definitely have enough food for 72 or more hours. I look kind of funny at those folks hoarding food and keeping it in a cave. I would be more concerned about not having enough money to meet an emergency.
I thought he was referring to the rabbits eating wallpaper and flowers??I wouldn't recommend wallpaper. In fact, wallpaper is a lot harder to find these days than dandelions.
I'm almost certain all types of wild tubers are safe to eat. There's a wild potato that tastes better than any commercially farmed potato I've tasted. I remember what its above-ground part looks like, but I don't remember what it's called.

I'd heard about some odd stuff, but not wallpaper til it was mentioned here and I looked it up.You probly saw Sunkist's post up there^
My Gramma told me that women used wallpaper in soup back then, but only because the paste, which was a simple wheat paste, was a great substitution for corn starch for thickening the soup. And gravy as well.
