What ordinary thing gives you the Ick...?

LOL... I've never been a lipstick, lip gloss, or Chapstick wearer. When DH & I were just married we were watching a movie or TV show where the heavily made up, beautiful young woman said to a guy, "Kiss me, darling!" My husband said under his breath, "First wipe all that sh!t off your mouth..."
For my first ex I bought red lipstick and make up, hair spray etc. The next one, I thought lets do some effort for him, but he hated it. Fine with me. I'm rather lazy than tired.

Oh lol when I just dated my first ex I wore a dress, puffed up hair and make up. That is so not done in Holland, bit he's half Indonesian.

In a public bathroom I was doing my lipstick, red, and a girl I knew said: Oooooooh it's you! I thought: Who is that snob?

well excuse Meeee...for living..lol... I always wear gloss lipstick..or lipgloss... this photo taken yesterday

I think it looks very nice!

This is probably universal, but people that smell bad in any way makes me seriously nauseous. If one is recently sweaty or musty from physical activity, that's tolerable. But stale body odor, sour, putrid, filth, crust, rotten, urine, feces, or the like makes it difficult for me not to outright puke:sick:
Not meaning to be offensive, but some types of vocabulary almost cause this reaction 🤢 and the last word in that post is one example.

Sort of like how the commoners smelled, from Medieval Europe until mid 19th century "wild West" times.

Seeing kids and adults picking their nose. Didn’t they ever hear of using nasal spray and a tissue or handkerchief?

You look fine. Dont listen to him. Theyre your lips. He doesnt get a say.. :D

Im too pale for just lip gloss. I need color aka lipstick. Ive worn this same color since the 70's.
The husband never yacked up his Cheerios so it must not be that bad.

thank you Veronica...you're right of course.... 🌺

I wear darker lipstick too, depending on what I'm wearing but just around here I'll wear lipgloss like in the photo...taken in the garden yesterday. I don't wear blusher unless I'm going out ...... just moisturiser... ..but lipgloss most days I wear to keep my lips from cracking or flaking...

@hollydolly your lipstick looks good. Good color on you and not over the top.

i have seen photos of women with the gloopy shiny lipstick but not in person. My guess is, in real life, the first time she drank something it would be all over the glass and her face.

I don’t know how women tolerate the caterpillar eyelashes either.

thank you MR...🥰 when I was a kid I had an aunt & uncle ( my father's brother)who lived in Toronto.. they had no kids so they had plenty money. They would send photos regualarly ( they were the only ones who could afford colour film).. and visit us in Scotland every 4 years. She wore more make-up than a Max Factor counter. Thick foundation, and deep deeeep red lipstick.. her hair was dyed jet black.

I wish I had a photo to show you...... and as a kid I thought that she dressed like that because she was rich.

My mother told me in later years that my uncle had never seen my aunt without all her full face of make-up... she made a new application before going to bed every evening so he would never see her with a morning face!
