What have you bought recently?

I am getting hooked w/these Brighton bangles! Some are hinged, so as to get over your hand easier. But, the ones I have fit over my hand and knuckles with no problem.

This week I've been spending money like it's someone elses'..

New Stove...New Fridge freezer...new Tumble dryer, and new Washing machine

Also I bought 2 new jumpers ( sweaters to non Brits)... one Black wool Polo neck ..and one mint green crew neck jumper ( I said blue the other day, it's not, it's green)....

Also some new motion sensor lights for the new Utility room arrived today....

I had a light like that when I was a teen. That 2nd thing is to drink water from the ditch and the 3rd to charge your phone with the sun.

And I just got the radio/flash light. Cool.

I bought potting soil and two big foil pans (turkey size) to plant the cuttings I took from some flowers in the fall. They have sprouted roots nicely so I'm going to grow them indoors to plant in the garden when the weather warms up. Didn't actually "buy" them because I used a gift card that I got for Christmas. There are 11 plants altogether. Beats paying $15 each for the plants in the spring, right?

And a sack of fescue seed to overseed what's left of the lawn because the window for overseeding closes in about a month. I've already spread all of it.

Saw a sweater online that I really like in a deep lavender (but not purple) color I don't have. Bought it even though I've sworn not to buy any more clothes. It's not like I don't have plenty! Then spied a set of two skillets that DD really needs and bought those, too. Still didn't spend any real money because I had a gift card to that store that DSIL gave me.

So I "spent" money without spending money and used what I saved to beef up my emergency fund. Yay, me :)
