Lord Mandelson resigns from Labour Party over Epstein Links

We don't care and we're not surprised at this... The Govt ignored warnings for years about him and his association with Epstein....

The British public on the whole...actively dislike Mandelson....good riddence to him
Well, I'm certainly one of them, Holly, but will we see him kicked out of the House of Lords and become plain Mr Mandleson again? I think not,

Anyone, and I do mean everyone, that has been a 'friend' of Epstein should now present themselves for scrutiny to be cleared of any wrongdoings, but I suspect that 'some' are too well protected and will never have to face the music.

of course,,,,,, this is why the deaf dumb and blind wee monkeys saw nothing when Epstein was killed, and why Maxwell is in a cushy jail allowed to go jogging.. and receiving lots of perks.... ...because those most to lose will never be brought to justice, and apparently there are hundreds...

SkyNews seems to be having a field day with this, and of course, the guy formerly known as prince andrew. Apparently, the title of Lord can remain with this current newscycle participant, as there has been a precedence.

This whole thing has been known for years and if there was a smoking gun, it could have really upset U.S. politics... if anyone in/near power had used the information. I guess it is possible that no one in power is implicated... or they are all implicated and maintaining the status quo is the best outcome for these slugs.

I have yet to see any charges brought forth in the U.S. and I would suspect U.K. is only interested in Granny's Facebook posts. So it just becomes a distraction for the "useful" idiots of the world... which is all of us, imo.

I would imagine there is a lot more to come out yet about this international scandal - eg the role that Epsteins girlfriend [ co- conspirator ] ; whether the girls were above an age of consent and went willingly to an exotic island to simple relax ; learn about a little massage and practice on a few customers?? The sickos like Andrew and others knew what they were going for and were drooling at the jowls no doubt? yes sit back and fasten your seatbelts those of tender digestive systems - you haven't heard the worst yet or maynot ever will??

To be honest, I don"t really give a s--t !

Wealth and politics have ALWAYS had these kinds of shenanigans going on and it will continue after this current mess settles down.

The press loves it until one of their own shows up in the mix and then they "put the damper on".
I don't disagree about the shenanigans in politics, but I do care because there were many young women who were emotionally damaged and if no one is held accountable it will just continue to happen. I have no children, but I have three beautiful nieces and if this happened to one of them I would be devastated.

You're right concerning the young girls and as an aside - -we do have 3 beautiful daughters and their ages are (no laughing now) 70. 68. and 62. There's also a son in his 60's but he doesn't count in this discussion.:)

I have always puzzled over Epsteins prison sentence and death? Perhaps he was told by his benefactors " we bank rolled you for a lot of money for this enterprise Mr E - and you stuffed it up for us and we lost our monies - ya goin down mon:!

I read on the internet that Mamdani’s mother had visited Epstein on his island. If it’s true, it shouldn’t be reflected on the Mayor, but it does show up on the news, or at least, that’s where I read it. I think it was on “News Nation.” Maybe this is false. I haven’t confirmed it.

I was always under the impression that Epstein was set up by Mossad as a way of getting the dirt on as many politicians and wealthy industrialists as possible, so that the information could be used to control international response to Israel for its actions. However, seeing as it's now posited that he helped Putin, I'm not sure that the Mossad idea is the only controlling interest in his (Epstein's) affairs.

Whoever set him up, he obviously did a very good job of honeytrapping many of the rich and powerful in the West, if not the whole world, and I'm sure that the CIA and many other US/UK agencies have copies of everything he ever did. So that they can blackmail whoever they want in order to get their own political/financial advantage.

Meanwhile, the rest of us plebs can only wonder at the depravity of those in power, while we struggle to keep shelter over our heads and food on the table.

Still, the good thing is that I really do believe in the phrase, "Vengeance is Mine, said the Lord!" I'm sure that when those corrupted by their power and money stand in front of their creator and have to answer for their actions, they will be treated as the absolute low-lifes that the were in reality.

In early February 2026, the Department of Justice (DOJ) accidentally released the unredacted names and identifying information of numerous Jeffrey Epstein victims. The data breach occurred during the public release of over 3 million pages of investigative files related to the late sex offender.

Key Details of the Incident
  • Scale of Exposure: A Wall Street Journal analysis found the full names of at least 43 victims unredacted, including more than two dozen minor victims. Some names appeared over 100 times in the documents.
  • Sensitive Data Leaked: Beyond names, the files reportedly included home addresses, medical records, and unredacted images, some of which depicted victims' faces or sensitive settings.
  • Lawyers' Reaction: Attorneys representing over 200 survivors characterized the leak as "the single most egregious violation of victim privacy in one day in US history". They demanded that the DOJ immediately take down the entire 3-million-page repository.
  • DOJ Response: The Department of Justice temporarily removed thousands of documents to correct "technical or human errors" in the redaction process. Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche stated that the agency is working "around the clock" to rectify errors as they are reported.
They can't "rectify" the errors. Once something is on the internet, it can't be taken back.

The documents released have been heavily redacted "to protect the victims." So who exactly are the "victims" they're protecting since they're obviously not the underaged girls who were trafficked.

Very good question!

It's a sad thing to have happened... horrible in ways I doubt that I could fully understand.
And I don't know the answer(s) to your question... I'm not really interested in friends protecting friends
and all the political gamesmanship. But we all have our particular interests in situations of this sort and I
don't mean to come across as dismissive in anyway... those are good questions to ask.

The thing about all this that "gets" me (and I've seen this kinda' thing time and time again) is that the public
was demanding that this administration do this thing and quit stalling when they were all so positive that that is
what they were doing... and now that they've complied with the people's demands the people are all like,
"OMG, I can't believe that you didn't take more time and be more careful!! You horrible people, you!!"

Idk what to think anymore...

The documents released include an email from a lawyer that inadvertently revealed the name of one of the eight women who have accused Oren and Tal Alexander, and Oren Alexander’s twin brother, Alon Alexander, of sexual assault.

Gross incompetence would be a good way to describe their actions.
