I just looked up the price on Amazon. The glider costs approximately $3.50 now.

So does a loaf of bread.

Lets not forget about the fancy version that was launched with a rubber band.

Loved those. My favorites were the ones with the rubber band propeller and wheels.

The real expertise there was in knowing just how much you could wind that rubber band before it would break.

One always had to be cautious, if you slipped towards the end of winding one those things up if felt like a buzz saw as the propeller unwound against your fingers.
