Keeping small notepads for list making?

I love to use those small sized yellow legal pads to make my grocery and reminder lists on.
Keep one in the kitchen and one on my desk.
I needed to pick some more up and had a hard time finding them in Walmart.
They went from being on the top waist high shelf to ONE slot on the bottom and I got the last one.

Really??? I know so many use their phones for lists now but come on - there are some of us fogies'
that still prefer the old fashioned way. Now I have to cruise that section and begin stocking up or
put them on my birthday/Christmas gift list for family.

I have trouble finding ordinary things like that too. I finally shifted to just buying a ream of printer paper, and cut some sheets into fourths, use a clothespin to hold the pieces together, and keep those anywhere in the house that I need to write notes. It was easier for me, and I figure printer paper will always be around.

Forget about making notes on my phone. That takes more time than just jotting down what I want to - and taking the small list(s) with me to the store.

Before I retired, work changed its letterhead. This meant that reams of paper were being discarded. I took some it in several styles and still use it. Nothing leaves the house with it on. Actually no paper notes leave the house, everything is on my phone.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who still uses paper for lists.

My friends and I exchange small gifts on birthdays and Christmas, so I have gotten several notepads that way. If needed, I tend to cup up larger pieces of paper, too, like @MACKTEXAS mentioned, and I have always kept a magnetic notepad on the fridge, like @Pinky mentioned, so I jot down grocery items I need.

I also still use paper calendars and planners; I don't like using my phone or PC for that purpose. But I guess that's a different thread!

I use the same ones that you do. And I use loads of Post-its-- especially for reminders and also for films or series I want to see. I don't use an internet phone. Those things give me the creeps (plus I don't see well).

I pretty near always make out a grocery list, especially if there are multiple items. The reason I do it, is I can't remember what I intend to buy a lot of times. Several times I have went to the store and forgot my list. I pretty much now put my grocery list in my notes on my phone because I usually have it with me. That helped solve that problem.

Trying to read my phone screen other than in my house ticks me off, It is too dark to see clearly when I need to most.

I post reminder notes on my kitchen door often, dentist appt., grocery list, etc. I like using the sticky back notes that have lines on them, I've never had a problem finding them at Drug Mart.
