I think I knew that about her. I like her duets too but I grabbed the wrong link for the second song. Here she is with Willie Nelson. They fit well together.

Here is a popular local folk singing couple who live in San Francisco and perform in my town at the Freight and Salvage where I've seen them play. Definitely not a high gloss, studio finish to their songs but nice harmonies anyway.

Reminds me of days at grandparents when the whole family sang and played together.
To be honest those family concerts left me warmer than any professional concert I have been to.

John Prine is a big favorite of mine too. I especially liked the album of duets he did with women singers. This is the one I remember best.

But this cover by Brandi Carlisle seems perfect for an old people forum like us. Colbert's introduction recorded the day John died is pretty nice too.
