Dunno, I haven't looked lately, so perhaps Lord Lucan is doing laps on Shergar? That might explain how I manage to get my toes hurt by the legs of the bed sometimes,i.e. it's that bloody horse treading on them!

"Neigh! Surely not!" you might say, but none of us knows for sure what happened to either of them, or that American bloke Jimmy Hoffa. Perhaps he's under someone else's bed, organising teamsters for the future?

In my basement bedroom, there are onions. The floor is cold and they keep well. Almost all out of this years crop.

Nothing under the master bedroom bed. There are years and years of Playboy magazines that's never been opened under the guest bedrooms bed. I discovered it when going over things when my husband passed. They hadn't been opened so he must have been saving them for possible future value.

The leaf for our dining room table. 19 years old, wrapped in sheets and never used. The table currently seats 6. We've never entertained more than that.

Besides Jimmy Hoffa, there's Jimmy Buffett's lost shaker of salt, Amelia Earhart, Judge Crater, my lost sweet girlish waistline, Little Bo Peep's sheep (which I've been trying to get to come out on insomnia nights so i can count them), and most of my youthful delusions of grandeur.

And I wonder why I have nightmares.....

A wooden floor. My box springs and mattress sit right on it.
When my boy dog got older and seemed tentative at times about jumping up on the bed,
I took the bed apart. Headboard and footboard lean against a bedroom wall.

I am tall and so was the husband. Theres storage totes full of stuff under all of them.

Not as much now as there was before I swept under the bed yesterday.
