It lifted my spirits, to try to learn how to post my photos, and to share them with you!
Some of the photos that I take thru the window don't come out well, but some do.
I haven't gotten any of this years bluebirds yet, but i have great ones that i took ,from years past.
However they are either on some Old laptop Or on a small camera that i don't know how to transfer to post here.

They really become family members don’t they? I love how cats can make any surface look comfortable. Does your cat like watching the birds.? Ours did! Her want to capture them vanished when she got old.

Just a quick hello before Rocco gets here, been catching up on posts. Sorry to read that you are having such a rough time at the moment @Kaila. I really hope you can get this sorted. Even if I don't post very much (depends on how my shoulder is) I do still look in and think about you and wish you all the best. I love your photos by the way.

You reminded me what body part it actually is. I kept saying it was just above the heel which IS actually the ANKLE. Yes it’s the back of my ankle that hurts. I asked chat GPT about it and it said to expect it to heal slowly.@PeppermintPatty. Hoping that you are beginning to feel better, Medusa. Patty, that bad ankle must be very frustrating for you as I know how much you enjoy your walks, so I hope that heals up soon.
I sure am worried about Medusa. I thought she was on the mend but I think her health took a nosedive. Here’s to thinking of you @Medusa.

Maybe Medusa or her son ended up in the hospital from whatever they have. I don't know if they tested to see what they have. There's also another viral infection going around that is pretty bad. Not the flu but some other monster. My coworker has been out 12 days from work. Will 13 if he doesn't come back today. He's had a low grade fever this whole time and it doesn't wanna break. I told him to take some aspirin but he's being stubborn.
I can't take aspirin very much because of my Tourette Syndrome but if I have a bad enough fever I will.

@Kaila, I'm sorry you've been having a rough time of it! Good for you for getting to physical therapy. I agree with Kate; you are a treasure. 
Your kitty is beautiful and I'm enjoying your bird pictures!
@PeppermintPatty, sorry for you that you're having trouble with your ankle. :/ Thank you for your care and asking after me (and you guys also). You're awesome. This is just dragging, this virus and the recovery is slow. But I'm getting there and so is my son, thankfully. We're hoping to be all better in the new month.
@MarciKS, we haven't tested but this does seem to be a tenacious virus! The fever is lingering for me, but my son seems to be past it. Time and rest.
@Kaila, I'm thinking of you and keeping good vibes for the rough patch you're working through right now.

That's a funny-yet-true observation you've made, that cats can make any surface look comfortable.
I also love how cats demonstrate and make obvious, that they trust us and feel secure and safe, in the environments that we provide for them.
By sleeping in positions they do, in our homes.

This cat of ours has almost never shown any interest in the birds outside our window. The lone exception was years ago when one landed on the outside of the screen, in summer when the window was open.
Here is what she did today, when the wild birds were at the feeder, near the window close to her:
Those are my knees, with her sleepy head resting and dozing on one.

How far along are you in that time span of 6 to 10 weeks, was it, for your heel/ankle to heal?

I still trudged through today, With difficulty.
I tried to do better, but wasn't able. Therefore, I couldn't take dh for the 1 outing-errand, I'd hoped to.
We did do a 5 or so minute stroll outdoors, and I put seed in the dish of that feeder in my pictures I posted.
We looked at the trees and came back in.
Now that i write it here, I realize that is small but truly significant, after all.
