When ordering various stuff through Walmart "shipping" sometimes other suppliers show up that you can choose and they list their shipping charges.

I have had Walmart+ Access for several years now, and I really like it. I do not get the express delivery unless they are offering it free, which they do occasionally, but I order over $35 so I can have the free delivery. When an item is for shipping , it is free even if it is less than $35, so that is always great, too.

It's somewhat confusing because they express things as points, and the app and website doesn't have good menus but i expect that they are not lying.

Now, if they would only make ordering on their website more efficient. I stopped doing it because it's so annoying. Walmart waits until you've paid for your order(s) to send emails saying that such and such item is no longer in stock. Why can't they be like Amazon and let you know that before you place the order?
Also, one has to be mindful to check the box that says no substitutes. Before I realized that, I ordered a pack of pearl beads. They sent me wooden ones. Plus my son said the pick up procedure had become a pain, so now if I want something from Walmart, I just have him check the store or take me there. I have problems with deliveries here (according to the carrier), so I never have anything delivered.

Yes. I try use online shopping and free delivery as much as I can. Walmart (plus member), Amazon and Wholefood (prime member), Temu(purchase warehouse items totalling above a threshold).
I don't enjoy driving and spending my time walking and finding items at the big stores.

I quit Amazon because to me $140 a year is too much to pay for that. Mainly cuz I don't use it that much. If I used it more maybe. I have Walmart plus though and I'm glad I got it. I have no car and like you I don't like all that walking and searching for everything. My lungs don't like it either. I'm getting too old to spend 2 hrs running around a store looking for crap that is on odd aisles. LOL

Walmart delivery is awesome. I have Walmart+, but I don't use Express Delivery because regular delivery arrives the same day I order as long as I order before 2 or 3 pm. And it's just as free.
I had to quit driving a few years ago, and I don't walk so well. And if I walk for more than 10 minutes or so, I crumble, and I'll have a killer backache for hours. Before I found out Walmart delivers, my wife took over the shopping duties, and did it as often as 4 times a month. But she works and goes to university, and I could see this was wearing her out and she got to hating it.
So, yeah, I'm really grateful for Walmart delivery. I put in a big order twice a month, and then sometimes a 3rd, smaller one. With Express, there's no minimum purchase amount. Non-Express has a $35 minimum for the delivery to be free, but that's not a problem. If my order is a couple bucks shy, I just tack on a new inkpen or toothbrush or something.
I use Walmart+ delivery from the store and it has worked well for me. Shipping is free and that is a nice feature. The store here is so crowded and the parking lot is usually too full for parking anywhere near the store. The store is large and takes time to shop inside. It makes it better for me to have the delivery. I do not use the express delivery, however.

I use Target delivery, which they use Shipt. I haven't bought the Shipt subscription. I pay $9.99 per delivery and add a driver tip. I only use it every other month or longer because I still go to Wmart in person for some things.
What I like about using Target is that Target employees are not the ones who shop my order. It's done by Shipt drivers. I would not trust Target employees just like I don't trust Wmart employees to shop any orders for me. This is because of what I've observed at Wmart stores and the poor feedback that I've read. The grocery pick-up service has particularly bad feedback.
The Target delivery substitute system is easy to use and I am informed of any product that is not available and offered a chance to substitute before I check out. Quick, easy checkout and regular updates on the shopper's progress once assigned. Through the app map link that they send, I can follow the shopper's drive progress as she/he nears my home.
Though Target does not have as many locations as Wmart or as large of a variety of products, the prices are comparable. What is too high at Target, I pick up when I go to Wmart. I have used Target delivery many times and in 2 different states. Haven't had any problems and I've enjoyed it. Doing it this way reduces the time I have to spend at Wmart. I don't much enjoy spending a long time at any store anymore. I just want to get out ASAP and go home.
If there is a Target near you, you should consider giving it a try.
