I know... it's just about gone from the last heavy snowfall (weeks ago!) and now it will be replaced. I'm hearing blizzard calls in some places, bomb cyclone, some places on the east coast are going to be measuring feet instead of inches. "Freaking snow" is right. 🤬

Did your winter snow falls ever come?
The ones that you'd mentioned not having yet begun, in November or December, 2025, and perhaps not in early January, either, 2026???

We seem to be getting a never ending series of them, here, at this point. Each one adding additional depth....🙄😬😱

But I don't remember your saying that you've gotten some, in your area, after all. ?

We're due for another large snow storm, they say....Sunday evening, through Monday late night. 😬

Sheesh.

@Kaila, thank you; watching the Olympics is pleasantly distracting. I was planning our Mardi Gras and Lupercalia for the first week in March, but now that's even looking iffy. Though, it's a week away so, you know.

I've been doing my regular dailies because I'm sick of being sick so I'm just ignoring it as best I can.

I'm hanging out with boyfriend this afternoon and, I think, husband and I have... you know, I don't think there is going to be hockey or curling for us tonight. Huh. Oh, well; maybe we'll catch up on UK Traitors. Alan Cumming is fabulous!

That we're all expecting this next winter storm. (except for @Pam 😊)

It must be a large system, and a slow moving one, that will not pull out soon after arriving; at least that's what is predicted, hearabouts.

Perhaps we could all go for a sudden visit to Pam.

Oh yes I forgot to mention.... strong gusting winds and blustery white out conditions with low visibility. 🙄😬

12 TO 18 in central CT. Blizzard along the shore.
 
Kaila, the snow never came. A week ago we had a very, very light snowfall that was melted by the afternoon. This week we had some cold for a few days; nothing like our normal cold stretch. Of course, I did snivel about it. I even wore my heaviest down coat and my extra geeky hat and mitts.

I doubt we shovelled snow more than seven times.

We thought last year was mild. This is the warmest winter we’ve ever experienced. It’ll be really bad for fire season.
 
Last evening I was hoping to go to the nearby park with family and their friends for a 'light festival' where the park would be lit up and various acts performing. Unfortunately, the weather was against us and about an hour before the event was due to start the rain came down heavily, We had to give it a miss. I don't mind wrapping up against cold weather but trudging around in heavy rain... no thanks!! Shame but I curled up and watched the snooker semi finals instead. :)

That pinched nerve in your lower back, sounds very difficult, painful, and limiting.
And it's also worrisome, as you described very well.

I remember having that, years ago.
It was just like you said.
I don't remember how it went away, other than I tried to avoid all movements or positions that made it worse.

What i do remember, it's that it did slowly, go away. I don't know how or why, but it didn't last forever, like I feared it would, at that time.

I had hoped to get a couple, as i sometimes do, last autumn, but didn't.

Hello to every one of you.
🤩🥰🫠🥰🤩🥰

I got only a total of perhaps 4 hours of sleep, last night, and i have been up since 4a.m.😟☹️
That isn't helping any of my other difficulties, symptoms, or stresses, either, that I 've been struggling with.😵‍💫
A rough couple of weeks, it's been.

I have an important appointment tomorrow, made weeks ago.
But with the blizzard weather forecast, I will most likely not be able to get there.
And they might even be closed.
