ChatGPT is powered by OpenAI. I may stop using it for that reason... not that it will make any difference, but just out of principle. I don't like using products that are contributing to the fall of society.
 
KUDOS to Anthropic for their stance. I don't trust for one minute that even if give the assurance they sought, the DOD would continue to honor that agreement. When I first saw news about this, I believe it said Open AI was in agreement with Anthropic on this. SMH!
