Hubby got his date for dental work,,,next week .
Will be couple hours long.

I will drive him home.

Biopsy will be March 26,,, no time frame as to when to arrive.
Again I'll be driving.

IF folks are wondering about the driving remark,,,,, I don't care to drive any more.

I rate each reply on a scale from 1 (poor) to 5 (excellent), depending on how well they addressed the question and how well written it is (e.g., no grammar or spelling errors). They're surprisingly well written! One of the prompts is the standard "Describe your biggest failure and what you learned from it," and those responses have been particularly interesting.

There's no option for comments, unfortunately, but more than one person is reviewing each application, which is a relief. I'd hate to think I denied someone a financial award on the basis of an error in judgment.
 
Today has been a really long day... I've felt quite poorly most of the day. I get this every fortnight or so.. a day where I just want to sleep all day.. just sooo tired, I don't want to eat... have no energy... really worn out etc.... I don't know what causes it but every 2 weeks almost like clockwork it happens 😔

I slept for an hour earlier... and now at just after 10pm I really am so tired I could go to bed and sleep again.🥱. but I know if I do I'll be awake again in 2 or 3 hours.. and then up half the night.. so I don't want that..

I'm trying to force myself to stay awake until my usual bedtime at least !

I finished my federal tax return and got started on my state. I'm so happy and relieved that the feds accepted my return . They didn't last year because of some glitch causing them to claim that I entered the previous year's AGI incorrectly. I know I didn't because I checked three times. That caused me to have to mail both my state and federal taxes. For the first time in decades I am getting a refund...$430 to be exact. 🤑🤑

Good morning peeps of SF.... 🌷

It's just after 9am... it feels cold to me it's 9 deg c.. so not really very cold... but it's windy and that makes it feel colder .... ... but they're forecasting high winds for all weekend ...

I have to wait In today anyway because the boiler guy didn't come yesterday they called and said they'd be here today instead..

I'm looking at buying some Apple Air tags.. but they're hugely expensive.. £70 just for 2... has anyone got air tags that are generic that work just as well ? :unsure:

Thoughts go to those who are unwell .. to @ohioboy to @jet and @Pepper wishing you a pain free day ..and anyone who is feeling poorly today..

Morning all,certainly got use to these unseasonable temps,yesterday's high was 66
When I went on my usual early walk at 6:50, temp was 32,a tad breezy as I strolled around the building complex,winter isn't leaving quite yet
My plans today,a bit more shredding, take mid morning walk before the snow arrives,read today's NYT,my book. I look forward to my weekly dinner with the guys in the dining room at 5:30

Busy running day, Due to hubby not checking his oil and now afraid to drive his car
I have to drive him to his work, shoot over to my Doc for my B12 shot, then to post office
to mail a B-day card to Gr-Son, then over to Son's to have some time with his GF, then back
home to wait to go pick up hubby from work.
Good thing gas has come down a bit :LOL:
Hubs has appt for service guys for his car tomorrow, thank goodness!
 
Good morning! Like some others on here, we are expecting high winds today: up to 65 mph (105 km/h). Plus a wintry mix of freezing rain and snow. So I will be inside most of the day. The last film in a series I signed up for a few months ago is showing later ("Sometimes I Think About Dying"), and I'd really like to see it. I'll see if I feel like braving those winds later today. 🎐

Other than that, I'll be at my desk, working. A rather mundane day, but I'm OK with that.

There are a bunch of clothes I need to sort and bring to a thrift store, so I may work on that task.

I hope everyone is doing well.
 
We had a scam phone call this morning. They were purporting to be from our bank's security, suggesting that a couple of card spends were not of our making. What the scammers are unaware of is that our bank have told us that anything that they deem suspicious they inform us by letter. Not email, phone call or text, but letter.
I told the scammers to let me have their number and I will call them back. They hung up!
 
I tell you what it's a bluddy scam this servicing and MOT lark isn't it ?

I have a 7 year warranty on my new car which is valid as long as I have the car serviced at the National car company where I bought it... and if I chose a different garage to service my car I lose the guarantee

The actual showroom where I bought it is 2 towns away... and is not near anything, so waiting for 3 or more hours for the car to be serviced would mean kicking my heels with nothing to do.... so I called them today .. said all that.. and they said, well take it instead to our showroom north of you, which is only 15 miles away and have it serviced there...

..so then I ask, can you tell me how much the servicing will cost... and he hedged ...errrm... well I can't tell you that because they may charge different to us...

I was perplexed, I said why would that be it's the same company.. so why would there be a difference in the servicing charge.. and he just blustered...

Hmmm... ..:unsure:

Good morning to everyone. Well, today is 72 degrees and thunderstorms this afternoon. We will have to wait if the thunderstorms occur.

@hollydolly it makes one wonder about these car companies and what they will do and charge. We have a plan to do repairs at no cost to us but that never happens because the repairs or service is not covered by that contract. I hope they will honor the cost of the other service place by the one they mentioned for you.

We are going to the grocery store before it rains.

heard knock on my front door.......but no...feel okay, nothing
major with the old body....just got off fone with lawn co., want
some to do all the raking and limb pickup. It was/is frosty
outside, temp in high 30'sm sposed to warm to around 50f I think....bank sent new CC, so have a few places to change

On my way to son's to see his GF, I stopped to see my son at his work. I stopped
2 times in a row and missed him each time but today
he was there.
I told him "If I had come in and they were to tell me you weren't here
again I was going to believe you put a Tracker on my car and when it showed I was
headed this way you'd be saying "Oh crap, mom's coming, I need to leave for about 20 minutes"
He burst out laughing.
Then I went to his house and my gr-dog Theo couldn't stop kissing me or wanting me to
hold him. All errands ran and now soon time to go pick up hubby from work.
It's been a good day!

Temps have made it to 52 with a feels like of 47. At least the Sun is shining 🌞🌞

The horses got their second of three meals <——-trying to put more weight on the 30-ish fella.

Unloaded 200 pounds of horse feed from the car.💸💸

Put a quart of oil in the Saturn. It only has 79,000 miles but it is using oil, NOT leaking oil. I can’t afford to have someone tear into the motor, so I will just have to keep adding oil as needed. It won’t be the first time I’ve carried a couple quarts of oil in a vehicle for “just in case”.

I hope everyone is having as good a day as possible.😇😇

Imogene, I am well known on this forum for doing a lot in any one day..I'm often asked how do it..... but I am in awe at how much YOU do... you're absolutely incredible.. and you're older than me by almost a decade.. and using an aid to help you walk..
