Site for checking Gasoline prices daily in the U.S.

When I bought gas Monday, I paid $3.19 per gallon for regular. When I passed by that same station this afternoon, the price was $3.55 and diesel was $4.69.

I've had an app on phone for years, GasBuddy. I use it to decide when and where to fill up. When we travel I decide where to make fuel stops based on price.

I've noticed that gas prices in our area are lowest from Friday to Sunday, then see a jump Monday morning by as much of $0.50 per gallon. By Wednesday if will decline by about $0.25 with the weekend cycle repeated. Call me cynical but I see this as nothing more than a profit manipulation. Those same stations have a fuel delivery about once a week.

Perhaps US prices are lower because the US is a net exporter of oil and there are numerous refineries scattered throughout the country.

Roughly 80% of the crude we do import comes from Canada and Mexico.
exactly...... being an Island we rely almost totally on imports....and our biggest supplier believe it or not is the USA.....

Interestingly, in my home state when adjusted for higher state taxes, gasoline is still cheaper than five years ago. It’s funny. The politicians screaming about high gasoline prices are the same one who raised fuel taxes a few years ago.

Do what the Chinese do. Mine more of your coal reserves, build more coal fired electricity power plants, and use the electricity to fuel your electric cars.
