How are you today?

I can bundle up but having sometimes to use those thicker gloves drives me nuts. Try separating your house
key from a ring of keys to get into your house with all the bags you can carry. My hands are always freezing cold.
Air conditioning, girls. ;) I stay inside in the heat. I remember nights in Los Angeles that were so warm the sidewalk never really cooled off. Or days that were so hot the asphalt would give under my shoes.
I lived in the Northeast for the first 18 years of my life, and have returned to visit many, many times over the years. Have never been tempted to return to cold winters with snow and black ice, or summers with high humidity along with high temperatures. Not to mention the plethora of creepy-crawlies and flying bugs.

I'll endure being water wise and having about three months of high temps mostly in the 90s and lows in the 60s, because the plus side is (literally) clear weather 75% of our days, along with low humidity. No contest.

When I was younger, I didn't mind the heat. Something changed when I started having my own personal summer (hot flashes) and at this point, I can't tolerate heat well at all.

I live inside all summer, and from July-September, I expect it.

Last year we had a really nice winter, this year it seemed extra warm.

It doesn't help that time goes so fast these days it will be Christmas again in the blink of an eye 😂 😂

Not snarky at all, to me.

Maybe I should move to Oregon ☺️
You know what's weird? As I've gotten older it's the cold I'm having more trouble with. I just can't seem to bundle up enough on the Lucius walks when it's really cold outside. I'm talking though, about those particularly brutal days. :/

I have to confess that I didn't like the heat when I was younger even though I was born and raised in Los Angeles. Geeze, I sound like such a delicate flower. LOL I swear, I used to be heartier.

Totally agreed about time just whizzing by! I feel that too; the days go by so fast they blend into each other. I know, we'll be baking Christmas cookies before we realize where the year went!

Oregon or Seattle maybe. ;) :)

Sounds wonderful. 🌞 My favorite weather is windy followed by rainy/stormy. But I'll take generally warm over harsh winters anytime.

Don't you work in a hospital, Marci? They're almost always way colder than is comfortable.
I was thinking this too; every time I've been in a hospital, it's been cold. In fact, when I was going through a diffcult time of chronic illness and the ER was a familiar stop, I had a ready bag that included a huge poncho and a blanket. Maybe @MarciKS, works in a section that isn't well cooled for some reason?

(c/p):

Hospitals are kept cold to reduce the growth of harmful microorganisms, maintain medical equipment, and ensure staff comfort and efficiency.

Dear me! The fact that it's St. Urho's Day completely escaped my little pea brain. Are there any Finns here? Happy St. Urho's Day to you:). Are you wearing purple and green? Are you chasing grasshoppers out of Minnesota to save the grapes?

Yanno how sometimes a murder will be solved and the body was encased in concrete? How do they know there's a body in the concrete? Do those heat-seeking gizmos "see" through concrete? And a body would be cold so how would the heat-seeking gizmo know? Asking for a friend:ROFLMAO:

ETA: Oh, almost forgot. Can somebody give me a lift to Home Depot? I need to get some Quickcrete...
It's a rookie error - amateurs forget about the big toes - if you ever need to apply a concrete overcoat, cut off the big toes first, otherwise those pesky things always slip through the bottom, dead giveaway. ;) #IfYouKnowYouKnow

Sorry to read that so many of you are having such bad weather. I hope you all stay safe. x

I feel a bit guilty telling you this but, we enjoyed a Springlike day today. To celebrate, I bought a Spring-friendly jumper which was a bit foolish of me because, guaranteed that when you start buying clothes for the warmer weather, the bad weather strikes back

Goodnight :)

In the housekeeping dept it is never cool. We are at the mercy of the thermostats. Lol
