R.I.P. to a great action actor and a role model to so many!

It seems like it was only last week when we were still seeing the ads that were telling people how Chuck Norris stays healthy at his age.
That is one of the reasons why the news of his death was so shocking, at least to me it was!
I wasn’t one of those guys who got into all of the fancy fighting action but it just seemed like Mr. Norris was the kind of roll model that did so much for so many in America and maybe around the world for all I know.
My kids grew up watching all of his shows.
I didn’t look into those ads about staying healthy but they were probably decent ads.
I saw where his family said that although he was bigger than life to so many fans he was a great Husband, Father and great guy to all of his loved ones.
Seeing that confirms how I felt about him and that is that he just seemed like a great guy and a decent roll model.
You see so many actors who look like great people on the screen but find out that they were low life’s as far as their families were concerned.
I just hope his family will understand how much his passing affects all of us and how sorry we are for their loss!

It would have been good to put his name in the thread title. I was going to start a thread about his death, but happened across yours. Until I saw the tributes to him on the news, I'd forgotten what an impact he had in both films and TV. May Chuck R.I.P.

He was very active politically and I didn't care for the causes, policies, or candidates he supported. I won't say what they were, but you can Google it if you're interested or just ask one of the AI assistants.

I've never seen any of his movies or TV shows.

So personally, meh. That's how I feel about his passing.
I saw right away where he was described as great except for his political views.
I should have known by how callous of a statement, that is, that he opposed the kind of people who seem to think it is okay to make nasty remarks and call others names.
I glad that I am still able to see the good and bad in everything.
What a cheap shot to bring up politics when a good person dies.
What you are saying is that if somebody doesn’t agree with your political views then they should be judged as a bad person.
I want you to know that decent people don’t try to make everything into a political statement.
Do people just follow that line of thinking without conscience or the ability to think for themselves.
My God! Are people like this still fully human or are they controlled by machine thinking?

Didn’t post right away so I tried again.
