Anyone ever used Toe Separators ?

My toes , in particular the small end ones, are beginning to give me problems when wearing any footwear.
I have PND so need a good tight fitting shoe.
I thought separators might help.
The net search displayed so many different types and I am not sure which to buy.
Any advice appreciated..thanks

Barefoot style shoes could help. Over time regular shoes cause a narrowing of the toes.

I do wear open sandals but with nerve damage they have to be tight to 'feel '
The discomfort is at base of toes and I was advised to get these separators.

i tried a couple different types. however the problem was that they didn't really fit the shape of my foot so they ended up being more painful than the toe issue itself. both toes on the end of my foot (pinky toe and next to it) are hammer toes and the separators are straight. the toe line isn't and it caused strain and made my feet hurt worse.

I have a couple of toes that absolutely do not get along with each other. When I have to walk long distances, I just wrap each toe in gauze or a bandaid and it keeps the relationship neutral, if not friendly....

Only during the pedicure process....

I really try to avoid closed shoes these days, if possible - so I let my toes all hang out in sandals.

If I am going to be doing a lot of walking, I am liking my new Hike tennis shoes (trainers), they are mesh/cloth and don't squeeze too tight.

I don't know what PND is - and sorry I posted without really offering anything helpful.

Sorry..PND is Peripheral Nerve Damage most common in the feet and hands
Oh and just to keep the subject light it also means
