What have you bought recently?

I bought some sheets and pillowcases and then noticed that a pair of sandals I had liked last year were now in the sale for less than a third of the price they were originally. I nearly didn't add them to my order but, then I noticed they were the last pair and my size so, I decided it was fate; the universe meant me to buy those sandals so, order will be ready for collection tomorrow ;)

Keyboard stickers because the E & T on my keyboard have worn away. This is a Logitech keyboard less than a year old.. I'm not impressed....

I buy lots of food but my recent favourite purchase was Whippets. They’re a Canadian brand, though I’m sure you have similar in the US. A cookie, jelly, marshmallow and it’s all covered in chocolate. Yummy. I liked them so much that I bought two more boxes. And I don’t have to share because DH doesn’t like marshmallows.

The last Thursday of the month is -20% off at a Canadian chain drug store. If you spend $50, you get a $10 bonus card. And there was also an offer of $30 worth of points if I spent $100. I had $80 worth of sunscreen products in my cart so I topped it up with other things I needed soon anyway.
 
I finally gave in to pressure from my Daughter and bought a smartphone. I can use it to run my hearing aids which I must admit is convenient. She took my flip phone and hid it.

When I was in the hospital, Kaiser delivered a free walker to my room. I just ordered a bag to hang on the walker to carry things. Shifting into full geezer mode I'm afraid. Now let me at those full contact combat buffets.

I'm sure you'll enjiy the smartphone, once youve really played with it and discovered what it does, you'll love it...... and remember you can look the make and model up on Youtube and it will show you everything it can do.....

Also remember you can take photos with it too.... :love:

if you put a ziploc in that walker bag you can snag and hide treats for later. 😁
 
Gasoline. $5.29/gallon (cash price). And that's by far the cheapest around. Costco is $5.45/gal at the moment.

I cringed at the price pump but my car was at 1/4 tank, higher holiday prices are coming this week, and oil just crossed into $100/barrel territory, so I figure it's not going to get cheaper anytime soon. Certainly not in the next week.
