Tiger Woods has been involved in a rollover crash in Jupiter Island, Florida.

The condition of the 50-year-old golf star is not immediately clear. The incident happened just after 2pm Friday afternoon near 281 Beach Road.

According to KATU in Florida, it was a two-vehicle collision. One person is apparently stable, while another refused to go to hospital.

Woods, who lives on Jupiter Island, was involved in a similar crash in 2021 in California, which shattered his right leg after he was trapped under the vehicle. He needed multiple surgeries in order to recover from his injuries.

The accident, the third crash he has been involved in, comes just days after Woods made his hugely anticipated return to golf at an event on Tuesday night, where girlfriend Vanessa Trump was watching him play.

Woods has been weighing up whether to compete in The Masters at Augusta National, Georgia in April after undergoing a seventh back surgery last October. He said this week that, despite returning to golf, he has days where he struggles to move.

In 2021, golf icon Woods shattered his leg from a similar crash in Southern California

'Sometimes I have good days, sometimes I have bad days,' he said this week of his overall health.

'Disc replacement is not a lot of fun. I've had a lot of procedures prior to that, so the body doesn't quite heal like it was when I was 24. Doesn't quite bounce back.

'So I have good days when I can pretty much do anything, and other days where it's hard to just to move around.'

As well as Woods' ongoing back issues, he also tore his Achilles last March. He last played a tournament in July 2024 at The Open Championship in Scotland.

Remarkably, President Donald Trump had said on Thursday night that Woods - who he is friends with - would not be playing at Augusta.

'I love Tiger but he won't be there,' Trump told Fox. 'He will be there but he won't be playing in it.'

In 2017 Woods was arrested for DUI after police found him slumped in his car in Florida with five drugs in his system, including two painkillers.

He subsequently checked into rehab for painkiller addiction.

There comes a time when we have to take stock, which is more important, winning a golf tournament or feeling good about your body., he has reached the pinnacle of being the best at his craft or surely, it's not the money? He should count his blessing to think he has survived 2 nasty car accidents and multiple surgeries.

He's been arrested for refusing a urine test. Took a breathalyzer but would take a urine test which probably means pills

They're misdemeanor charges and will be in jail for about 8 hours
He’s an addict, guaranteed! We’ve all fallen short of course but he obviously needs help. Most likely he’s been this way for years and years. I could go on about his steroid abuse too but why kick the guy when he’s down? (Oops, I just did.)

Nice to hear all of the sympathy, especially from fellow boozers and addicts (see quoted post ). He's a miserable human being and would gladly plow into a family on the road without remorse. Keep it up folks - -pop those pills and hit the bars. Just do yourself in and leave the rest of us alone.

After looking at the picture of the vehicle, it appears that Tiger once again missed meeting the Grim Reaper. CBS radio reported that he was DUI. The newscaster also reported that 1 passenger was ejected.

You never know who you are sharing the road with, even at 2:00pm on a sunny Friday afternoon.
I read an article over the last year on addiction in which an addict said be more worried about people high on pot or cocaine at 7 in morning/through out the day than drunks coming out of a bar at night.

Unfortunately this is a case and point.

It doesn’t have to be an addict.

A person my age coming from an ophthalmologist on a sunny day after having my eyes dilated or a person after being sedated at a dental appointment and sadly all too often it’s just a decent guy that had one too many at a birthday party.

I’ve been guilty of driving under the influence, thankfully no one was hurt and it didn’t ruin my life but it certainly could have.

THANK YOU, DAVE!!!!

^Five to that!

Someone needs to take his license. He’s had more than enough “chances” to change, but, that’s what happens when one is rich & famous😡😡

I don’t give a flip about “all the pressure” of the sport. Get with the program before you kill an innocent person.

I have lived with alcoholics. and the abuse they can wreak upon the household. Sorry but I have zero-minus-ten sympathy.

My ex SIL passed last year from over use of drugs and alcohol that she was so sure she could “manage”. In her sixties. Will never see her grandchildren grow up. A pretty and once intelligent person. Yepper. Shur did manage those addictions——.

Oh yeh, probably the cause of a lot of road rage incidents. I've seen drug addicts try to explain away their accident or damage to their car by saying it was early in the morning or during the day.

With Woods it's not just the drugs causing impaired driving. One of the effect of intoxication is less impulse control. Apparently his accident happened trying to pass another vehicle which shows impatience. That would also explain some road rage across the country as well.

America has a serious problem with opioids and it’s not always who you’d think. Chicks, doctors, lawyers and everyone else too. In my hometown I swear 50 percent of chicks were on them. Once they run out is where the real trouble begins. Bank on it.
