Who is the other woman ?

That's really funny....and scary....

I was at my sister's house and her Alexa was making funny noises. I yelled, "ALEXA, SHUT THE **** UP!" Dead silence for a few seconds and then I heard, "WELL, EXCUUUUSE ME!" Cracked me up, it did. Alexa got her feelings hurt.
One of my colleagues used Siri and I told Siri where to go, again a pause before Siri said that's not nice...

A few years ago I babysat my 2 young grandkids. My son/daughter-in-law have 7 Alexa's throughout the house to turn on/off EVERYTHING. I had to call them so they could tell me how to turn on lights, the TV, etc. The Alexas tell the kids bedtime stories. Its amazing what technology can do but also very scary. I've since learned how to be a better babysitter by controlling Alexa.

Lol, the only 'voice' feature I use is where Google Maps gives audio directions for navigation. It's not interactive, just a one way conversation.
Years ago I worked as a database report designer and got sent all over the UK. One time I flew up to Scotland, and hired a brand new Volvo estate car to go from Aberdeen to Dundee. As I was driving along the dual carriageway (4 lane highway that has 2 lanes each side separated by a central reservation) that night I found a button on the back of the steering wheel and accidentally pressed it. The next second there was a click and a whirring sound and up out of the dashboard a screen appeared. It scared the life out of me!

So anyway, I carried on along the dual carriageway till I had to turn off to the left at the next roundabout to reach my destination. As I slowed toward the roundabout suddenly a man's voice spoke to me from the driver's door, which was next to my right elbow. I nearly crashed the car, and I started looking around to see if there was someone sitting behind me, it scared me that much!

From then on, till I reached my destination I had to endure the voice telling me that I was going the wrong way every time I approached a junction.

Finally, the next day I sat in the car and read through the owner's manual till I found out how to turn off the satnav, and thereafter didn't have any further scares. Phew!!

DW and Daughter went to a conference with several co-workers... I wish I could share the video... I was crying....
Our daughter (early 20s) brought her Alexa along... Phyllis (late 50s) had never seen one... so after dinner and a few drinks they get back to the hotel and the questions begin about Alexa....
Daughter says.... "Alexa, make fun of Phillis"...
So for the next few minutes a drunk Phillis is arguing back and forth with Alexa while 3 other grown women are dying laughing...
