Absolutely Rae... he's a nightmare.. he's a really personable nice guy, and he's illiterate and has 2 children to feed.. and so unable to get a regular job... which is why I've given him so many chances..but enough is enough now !
All the more reason he has to be reliable and keep the jobs he has.

Someone stole a large jar of Cerave from my hospital room. I’m livid. I rarely buy anything and it helped my dry skin. It cost almost $20. Almost full as I didn’t need to use it often.

Hate thieves and especially from an obvious victim. Old hospital patients
ooh I hate thieves.... and what a shame I have a full jar sitting right next to me here.....and I didn't steal it from you, lol

Cleaned up my kitchen, got the garbage ready for my son to take to the dumpster area as soon as he got home from work. I took care of some business matters online. I also put away our Amazon order of twelve 8 oz pump bottles of Germ X hand sanitizer. Six for each of us, stored in our separate personal care products boxes. Glad room was readily available in both boxes.

@Pepper So sorry that happened to you! People in those places who do that have no heart, no shame and apparently no fear of being caught.

Good morning, everyone. @StarSong, I'm envious of you getting to see your little grandchildren; 2 and 4 are such cute ages!

@Pepper, I'm so sorry, and angry, that someone stole your Cerave lotion. That stuff is pricey! And I have no patience for thieves. Absolutely none. Grrr.

I'm getting ready to do some work before heading out. I started watching Schindler's List last night and was riveted and horrified, as I thought I would be. It immediately brought to mind Elie Wiesel's book Night. I'll be finishing the film later today. I'm pretty sure I'll watch that Twilight Zone episode "Death's Head Revisted" afterward.

I'd better get some coffee in me and get moving! :coffee:

Good afternoon peeps of SF aon this Sunny Easter Saturday.🌞🌷

The winds are strong... but not storm strong, as they're being reported today in the north where there's sturctural damage.

If the wind dies down a little I'm planning to go out and see if I can fiddle with the lawnmower to try and work out why it's not collecting the grass...

Have the best day you can folks

I meant to add, I am going to stop by the supermarket in the hope of getting fresh scallops so I can make Scallops Grenobloise, which I've been meaning to try for awhile now. Getting fresh seafood here is hit-or-miss. The only reliably available items are cod, walleye, and salmon (which is good because I love salmon). Ordering it online is out of the question because of the storage/packing/shipping costs. So I have my fingers crossed!

I just downloaded your Saturday picture and sent it to a bunch of people. I guess I'M the thief!

Happy almost Easter, peeps!

I was able to catch an early 45 minute nap when 2 year old GS slept yesterday morning. Woke up feeling like a new woman!

Will see where today takes me, but I expect to mostly remain within my house and property. The stores will be crowded and by deep afternoon the temps are expected to reach the mid 80s. Might do some freezer organizing.

Good morning to everyone. It is another warm day at 88 degrees.

I had two deliveries, one from the grocery store and one from Amazon. They were on time and did well.

Yesterday our grocery store was packed and busy, too. Sunday they will be closed.

Have a good day and stay well, everyone. :)

Still a live & kicking!
Been having computer problems.

Our son came in last night with hubby's corvette in his car hauler.
So glad to see him! 🥰🥰

When I came down stairs,,, son was working on my PC.

Looks like he has set me up with lots of sites to try.

Haven't checked all the things happening in here..

Hope every one is doing well &
have a good Easter !!

Well it;s racing towards 7pm now... sunset is around 7.30pm... and I have been trying my hardest to get the lawnmower to cut the grass. If I'd bought it recently I would take it back but I bought it last summer, just as a back up between gardener visits, so I only ever had it on to try it, and it wasn't collecting the grass..bt my gardener was going to look at it for me.. but now he's moved and not coming any more

Anyway I looked on youtbe today, and saw where the problem might lie .. and fixed it.. and lo and behold, the mower worked and collected the grass..

I'd only just done 2 rows , and the battery died.. ( cordless battery mower)... I left it for a few minutes it started again, I didn't get more than half a row done, and it died again..😖

I put it on charge even tho it had 4 lights out of 5 charged...then I put it back in 1/2 hour later... got 1 and a half rows done.. Battery died !

What a piece of Chit.. ! I'm furious !..I've got half a lawn done and it's gonna be dark soon! I've put it back on charge bout 45 mins ago. I'm gonna go out there again in a minute and see if I can get the rest done.. at least in the back !

I'm definitely not buying another battery for this lawnmower... it's gonna go to the tip... but the trouble is, I'm loathe to buy a more expensive Mower in case I move to an apartment...
Most garden centers, hardware stores...places where you buy lawnmowers help you fix issues like that. Might just be a loose connection somewhere, or poor fitting, and they'll fix it. They at least check it out.

Do they do that there?
