It's incredible isn't it Terry.... when we ourselves were 50/3 just recently.. or so it seems..... just unbelievable how times fliesMy oldest son turns 53 the end of May so I know how you feel HollyDolly. Last year before our election, I majorly stocked up on items thinking that with the tariffs that the prices were going to greatly increase or we might have a shortage and it actually didn’t work out that way. So my closets were filled to the brim for nothing so I’m not doing that this time. Of course in Europe things will be different than they are here.

some of these things are very small but really handy..I bought a shallow basket at the dollar store to keep all my laundry items together on top of my vertical washer–dryer unit. Sometimes when the washer spin cycle vibrates some of the smaller items would fall off.

I also, several weeks ago, bought some temporary rose–gold spray-in highlights for my hair—I just grabbed it on a whim. I haven't had the nerve to try them yet, although if they look terrible it's not a big deal: I work at home, so it's not like I'd have to go in to an office looking like a freak.

Please let us know if the light base can be placed flat on a table so you don’t have to attach it to a book. I have one old battery one that is great for emergency lighting.
I remember the age of 53 vividly and it’s hard to imagine that it was 19 years ago for me. It was actually one of the best times of my life. It's incredible isn't it Terry.... when we ourselves were 50/3 just recently.. or so it seems..... just unbelievable how times flies
Sometimes to compare I think back to when my father was 50 and my granny was 70... and she was much older than me in her way.. and he was waaaay older at 50 than my daughter is now....
The way we're going by the time people die of old age they'll only look middle aged...![]()
yes that's just one reason...but my daughter is youthful in her ways of moving.....and I too.. at 50 were very youthful and moved and worked like someone half our ages .. this is me at 55..for example ..whereas I remember my father ( my mother died when she was young)... albeit realtively fit, he was much older looking at 50...than my daughter, or me.... and the same with my grandmother... not just the wearing of certain styles, but the slower way they moved, etc...I remember the age of 53 vividly and it’s hard to imagine that it was 19 years ago for me. I read somewhere that one reason people look younger is that they haven’t bought into the idea that they should cut and style their hair into an older person‘s hairstyle or dress a certain way, like a older person. All our parents and grandparents seemed to fall into that trap.
