Gentle posts for gentle folks

Good Afternoon, Kaila and Friends. πŸ€— :coffee: 🌷

I've done most of my things (still have one more dog walk) and also had a nice kitchen chat with my son. πŸ€—

Rift with boyfriend is all fixed and we'll be hanging out over Whatsapp or Zoom, or both, in a little while.

Husband is working the closing shift today so I may not see him until tomorrow morning at the coffee machine.

@Kaila, I'm sorry to learn that you've had such a hard time. :( Really hoping your physical therapy is helpful and comforting, as you've described. I'm glad you have this physical therapist in your life. Hugs, girl. πŸ₯°πŸ€—

Everyone else on this lovely thread, hope you're feeling good and enjoying a peaceful Thursday.

Thank you, @Medusa
For the understanding and the hugs.
And it's good to hear your updates and about your day, as well.

@Pam
I loved seeing your pictures at the park, this week, and hearing about the excitement there. 😱😳☺️

And your mallards, both male and female, (and the babies too)
look exactly the same as the ones we have here, across the large ocean.

A Robin, or a bluebird, or many others, are not the same ones, but mallard, Its the same. 🀩

Oops! It’s Thursday. Sorry everyone. I’m always getting my days mixed up.
Me too. Everyday is the same.

It’s too late to drive myself crazy but a part of me says I should have gone to rehab. I didn’t because of my cats. It wasn’t fair that they spent so much time without my company. They are young cats. Only 2.5 years old and were without me for almost six months.

Still can’t believe it. I’m rushing myself. Just got home Sunday. Everything feels so strange. I don’t know how to have patience.

Welcome home dear friend
I didn’t realize you were out of hospital
Good for you. I knew if you were persistent you’d get your way. It’s good to have you back. Your cats need you and so do we.

Yes it's 4 nights, so far. At home, for you.

I remember how strange it feels, to adapt to being back at home. And I wasn't away nearly as long as you Have been. πŸ’—

Welcome home.
Your own coffee must smell good and taste good. πŸ™‚

@PeppermintPatty
That was a precious post that you wrote for Pepper. It was touching for me to read it. ☺️πŸ₯°

Hey Kaila. I hope you are alight. Is it harder getting up in the mornings? Is physical therapy getting harder to do? Have you been checked out by a doctor to rule out any serious illness?
Take care
Love PP
I was thoroughly checked out by Dr s and many tests, when I was in the hospital, over a year ago, now. Thank you, Patty.

I've been followed by the Dr's, ever since.
They're the ones who actually order the physical therapy, etc.

They ruled some things out and some things in.
I'm definitely getting much better continuing care than I did get, before I had to be hospitalized.

The aquatic therapy is harder to do than the regular physical therapy but there's potential for it to possibly help me, so I'm going to try more sessions of it.

Good Afternoon, Kaila and Friends. πŸ€— :coffee: 🌷

It's been a nice afternoon. I'm tracking an important West Ham game that boyfriend is watching this afternoon (evening for him.) Normally, I'd watch it with him, but I'm not getting this one on any of my services. They're fighting to stay in the Premier League so every one of the next seven games is important.

Meanwhile, husband and I are enjoying hockey, watching our team, who now have no chance at the playoffs, which is actually making it fun to watch them again, and our secondary team who have just cinched their position in the playoffs.

I've finished my Lucius walks and my other "things" for the day so I'm just chill'n for a bit, playing... what could it be?... Animal Crossing. πŸ˜… πŸ₯°

@Pepper, so glad you're home again and resting.

@PeppermintPatty, yep, that hedgehog is adorable. πŸ€—

@Kaila, thinking of you, girl. Hoping today is going well. πŸ₯°

Wishing everyone a peaceful Friday afternoon. (With coffee, of course.)

Good morning @Kaila and all. Light rain to start the day off but not bad temperature wise. Yesterday I managed, albeit slowly, to tidy up the tubs in my yard by deheading the daffodils etc. Going to go to Aldi as soon as it opens and see what plants they have in. I'll take my old lady trolley with me. πŸ˜‰ I also managed to get a bit of cross stitch done, will do some more today - I hope.

@Medusa - excellent win for the Hammers. πŸ˜‹I'm sure your boyfriend will be delighted with that result! Fingers crossed they can win a couple more and keep well out of that relegation zone.

Have a good day everyone. Love all the pictures that you post.

morning everyone. sorry i wasn't in yesterday. i was sick all day with a stomach bug. i am finally up for a bit at 2 am here cuz i hurt so badly from laying in bed all day yesterday.

i haven't checked the weather for today but yesterday it was cool and rained off and on all day.

Good morning, everyone, my valued friends, πŸ™‚πŸ€©πŸ₯°

Sorry that you've been sick in that very uncomfortable way, @MarciKS πŸ˜’πŸ˜•

I'm glad that you seem to be getting a little better. I hope you got some more sleep, this morning!

@Pam
It's so nice to read about your goings-on.
I know that's a good feeling to clean up those plants in your tubs. Do you leave the same bulbs in them, for next year? Or do you plant fresh ones, each autumn?

My regular p.t.session on Thursday, was very worthwhile. She gave me very good ideas and guidance on my continuing attempts to manage the basic tasks at home.
And she also set up additional individualized activities there.

@Medusa
Thank you for that precious statement, that you're glad I have this supportive p.t. person in my life. That is probably the most important thing that's made the biggest difference for me, throughout this past full year, now.

She also communicates with the aquatic p.t. therapist, so they are directly coordinating for my treatment plan. I'm looking forward to going to that warm therapy pool, this week. πŸ˜‰πŸ˜ŠπŸ€—πŸ§œβ€β™€οΈπŸ§žβ€β™€οΈπŸŠβ€β™€οΈπŸŠπŸ€½β€β™€οΈπŸ€½πŸ˜πŸ˜„πŸ˜†

@Kaila. I have had the same daffodil bulbs for a few years now but the tulip bulbs are new, as were the tiny narcissus bulbs. If the daffs don't do well next year then I will change them. My friend always buys me some kind of bulb for birthday/Christmas and I planted one lot which should flower in summer (but I've forgotten what they are lol). However, my neighbours cat dug them up. I did put them back again but will have to wait and see if they've been damaged or not. One pack of bulbs she bought me are iris, they need planting in August and are still in the packet, that's why I know the name of them. :LOL:

I bought a sweet pea plant at Aldi this morning and that's gone in a small plant trough. I made up a support with some sticks and string. I love sweet peas. I have also sprinkled wild flower seeds in another plant trough so hopefully they'll provide a good show in the summer.

After I'd planted the sweet pea, Rocco arrived so I've not had chance to take photographs. His mum and my granddaughters have gone to Lancaster for the day, meeting up with my son who is on his way back from work so I said I'd have Rocco.

Warm therapy pool sounds good! Hope it helps. πŸ€—

@MarciKS - I hope you will soon be feeling much better and no longer in pain. πŸ€—
