I just got back from Busch Gardens/Williamsburg Va.
I had posted that my Granddaughters and I made quilt squares for the 250th anniversary quilt that Colonial Williamsburg was doing for the celebration. We made ours in November and the deadline was November 30th. They extended that to February and ended up with over 800 entries from every state!
They actually made several quilts and laid them out along the streets for people to view then will move them to different visitor centers in Williamsburg. They had some of them displayed by Monday and we went to view them and see if we could find ours.
We found mine and my oldest granddaughter's. Unfortunately, we didn't find the youngest's one and it was her birthday! We knew it was rolled up in the remaining quilts and we'd have to see it another time. :(
Well, when I got home I searched Facebook as they lived streamed the event and there were several views of the quilt out on the streets. Low and behold there it was! So, I sent it to them and said that she was the only one who made Facebook...Happy Birthday! Yay!

oooh they are beautiful..... I'm always in awe of people like you who could make such beautiful things...

Well, I didn't do half the things I planned yesterday and didn't get them done today either. I spent over 5 hours on the phone! My granddaughter called me twice and we stayed on the phone an hour and a half each time. This is significant because in the past, she hardly called us at all being the busy bee she is with college and work. My BFF called and we were on the phone for an hour and a half. Tonight my Honorary Son #3 called and we talked for 41 minutes. I did empty and wash out Deja's litter box and updated the budget-spending spreadsheets for me and my son.

And I couldn't perform normal functions
Please do not use your phone when there's a virus... please do this: write down the names and numbers of your contacts (so you don't lose them), and then DO A RESET on your phone!!!

When one of my previous phones somehow got a virus, that was what the company I bought the phone from said to do.. it'll clean EVERYTHING off your phone.

Morning all,was awaken by early but brief thunderstorm at 5:15a, went back to sleep for an hr
On early walk at 6:50,temp was 59 with a slight breeze as I walked around bullding before breakfast. This has been the weather pattern here past couple of days, sun comes out out, rain comes back in afternoon, but at least temps are warm in mid 60's

Everybody have a great day

Yesterday the surgeon gave me very good results from the surgery.

The rest of the day was incredibly hard. Left home 8:30am. Returned 4:30pm. A very long time at doctor. Finished after one pm. Waited an hour and half for pick up home. @katlupe

Ride in ambulette over two hours. I was insane by the time I got home. A lunatic. Yelled at driver he was too slow and took long route. Felt sorry for yelling at him so concentrated on finally being home.

The aide was with me. Very patient young woman. I would have popped my cork hours before if I had gone alone. It helped me for her to be with me.

Good morning!

Boy, what a night!! I woke up around 3 AM, going through the whole "fever breaking" process!!! I know I've been really rundown lately, but I thought it was a reaction from all of the pollen. The real surprise is that I'm very sensitive to when my temp goes up, even .2 degrees. I always know when I have a fever, but not this time!!!!

So, I'm tired from being up during the night, but in general I'm feeling better this morning. We will probably be going to the gym today, instead of tomorrow since there is a higher chance of rain tomorrow.

Good morning to everyone. It will be 84 degrees today with sunshine. My gardenia plant has more flowers blooming every day. They smell so nice.

My lost package by the post office arrives today. Only 2 weeks late. It seems like they could do a better service. Now I have the replacement package and 2 more packages tomorrow that are late, too. Oh well, I am getting them.

Have a good day, everyone and hope you all are feeling well, too. :)

Oh brother, I would have not liked that either. So far I am doing good with my rides. They call me to tell me when they will be here and are always on time. For picking me up too. But I live in a small town and there is barely any traffic to and from my appointments. They are acuatlly within walking distance but I can't walk that far (yet). I am glad you had an aide with you. That is a long time just for traveling to and from your appointments.

A very lazy day here as I recover from yesterday's Covid booster. Some of you may recall that I seem particularly susceptible to Covid, having had it at least four times - and three of those were absolute miseries. I'll do today's balance exercise video mid-afternoon if I'm up to it.

Should I decide to be computer productive I can start working on setting up our upcoming business season's spreadsheet templates. If not, no biggie. I won't be needing them for at least another month.

I took mine to the AT&T store and they fixed it, I think.

At one time the elk were every where.
The setters mush have ate a lot of elk!

Pennsylvania decided to have an elk herd introduced to the forests where few folks lived.
As time went on & elk reproduced more elk .
Some body suggester a hunting season on elk.
There is now museum about elk.
Very interesting to see the displays there.

A good money maker for PA coffers.
