What scares/creeps you out?

Dolls. There was an episode on Night Gallery that really bugged me about a doll. Also Trilogy of Terror, TV movie with Karen Black about a evil doll that came to life.

Now, someone gave my wife a carved black wooden doll riding a chopper. Has long hair, a grass skirt, with a mean look. It's Hawaiian/Polynesian, who knows. I keep it in the garage and I don't want to throw it away least....

Now I'm not a superstitious person by nature but I'm keeping the doll just because.

Oh, the scene on the movie Signs, where the alien comes into view for the first time. Goosebumps every time!

Other than that, horror movies don't do anything for me so don't really watch them but if I do, eh.

So how bout you? Not talking about the state of world or ills of society, just scary, weird, unexplainable stuff.

FYI, only creepy dolls bother me, not the ones my daughters or granddaughters play with.

Also I've worked alone, at night, in the desert on the southern border, saw a couple of strange sights but eh, so what?

This one???

Dolls can be creepy for sure, but the only thing that scares me/creeps me out is a roach.

When I was living in Florida, we had Palmetto bugs (roaches that fly). When I was in high school, our next door neighbors hired me to take care of their Great Dane while they were on vacation. They kept the dog food in a big trash can in the garage. One night I went to scoop some out for the dog and what seemed like a million Palmetto Bugs came flying out. It was like a horror movie.

My main fear or phobia is escalators, they terrify me.

It all goes back to when I was a small child and got my boot caught in an old wooden tooth department store escalator.

When it comes to television and movies, a scene in an old Hitchcock movie of a woman putting her face into a moving fan, and a twilight zone episode with Agnes Moorehead are the two most memorable.

No, wasn't Twilight Zone. Maybe, I'll watch it, but with the lights on and a scatter gun nearby :eek:o_O;):ROFLMAO:
The Twilight Zone "Living Doll" episode is good! (So is "The Dummy," if your creep factor extends to ventriloquist dummies.)

This is an image from The Night Gallery episode; is this the one?

Never mind; I see someone beat me to it! I deleted the image.

Snakes! I hate snakes! Grew up in South Texas and we had every venomous snake known in North America. Once, we had a cottonmouth in our house. And there was the night my brothers put a (garter) snake in my bed. And the time I fell into a pond where we had just been throwing rocks at the snakes in that pond. I scrambled to get out, waiting to feel a snake bite me. (It didn't happen but...) And the time my then pregnant Mother was bitten by a coral snake while working in the flower bed.
And the time I was sitting outside and a coral snake crawled past me under my chair. And the five foot plus rattler that was found (and killed) on a trail I frequently walked with my 18 month old grandson and dog. And the several times I watched a snake crawl up into the wall of the house where I lived.

Have I said I hate snakes?!

Im pretty mild mannered so it takes alot to get me scared or creeped out. Yes, a few Twilight Zone episodes, the 1st time I saw Jaws (as it could really happen, the movie Alien, the Excersist....& a few other movies. I dont like bugs (especially Palmetto bugs) or crazy drivers.
