Good afternoon everyone. Well, I decided to go and see the St George's Day Parade..... I shouldn't have wasted my time! I walked to the church so I could see the procession arrive plus it is nearer than walking to the starting point. They were led by a Scottish Piper in his kilt etc. - yes, for a St. George's Day parade.

He was followed by some cadets from the forces and the only flags in sight were one Union Flag (British not English) and regimental flags. Yet, in another town just 12 miles away they had big celebrations with a play depicting George killing the dragon etc. and lots of other things going on. Next year I'll go there.
I walked home and was exhausted when I got in and it's not a long distance by any means but my back was sore. So I got something to eat, lay down on the settee to unwind and fell asleep. Still sore so I've taken a couple of painkillers, should kick in soon.
Enough of me moaning, I hope you
@CallMeKate are feeling a lot better today.
Just seen your post
@Kaila and so sorry you are still struggling. Big hugs to you too.
I'm now going back to the settee and tele watching. I should be in a better mood next time I post.
