What have you bought recently?

What do you mean in your Spanish community? I thought you lived in the UK? For some reason, I'm thinking you are in the northern Uk....
I have a home in Spain, I lived there full time for 10 years... I came back to the UK to this house which I've had for over 40 years... I live on the edge of London which is the South East of England... I still own my home in Spain..

Off topic I know, but just want to take the time to congratulate you! It seems to me (from what you've shared around the forums) that you've overcome a lot of sorrow to build a good life for yourself. I'm happy for you!!! ✨🥰✨

well thank you ...I'm not going to cry woe-is-me... but you're right, I've hd to overcome massive trauma and obstacles in my life... .. and it's been a hard road.. which still isn;t as smooth as I'd like it .. but thankfully much better than it was at it's worst... thank you for recognising that.. you're very kind... 🥰

Does your Magic Bullet handle frozen fruit well? That and the other brands have feedback that say they don't. Trying to avoid forking out the $$ for a Ninja Bullet.
I try to let it sit for a little while first to often up a bit or I try to it it up if it's big pieces. Berries work good.
It handles it ok when you have a liquid in there with it.
Like any appliance, don't force it.

Nothing special but I finally took the plunge and have ordered a few inexpensive odds and ends using the Temu app.

I’m curious to see the quality of the items as compared to the prices and descriptions.

I will say that it’s the most annoying app that I’ve tried to date, I can definitely understand how the Temu app could be a problem for anyone with poor impulse control or addictive tendencies.

Liners for the air fryer, photo frames, a set of hand creams, hand wash, laundry capsules and conditioner, batteries and, most importantly, a pair of sandals.

I've bought a lot from temu... the clothing is particualrly bad... but things like socks are fabulous value 6 pairs for £2.00 an... and items like nail clippers etc, are great quality .. ...Be aware that all clothing and bedding is at minimum 95 % polyester... even if they say it's cotton

I find with Temu, that you need to read the reviews for everything.. and the few reviews that are negative on each item are the truthful ones... unlike on Amazon where if there's only a few negatives you can pretty much ignore it..

The other thing is..they take huge liberties with sizes of items...you think you're buying a regular size kitchen mixing bowl for example.. but in fact it's the size of a saucer.. so you do have to check all the details carefully..

I've saved loads of money buying from temu when I've compared the price to Amazon... and the few things that have been a waste of money have been either refunded, I've never had a problem getting a refund..or I just donate them if they just cost a few pennies..

It's also far easier to use Temu on the computer than using it on a phone.. much, much easier..

I'm still in the process of buying this, but . . . a bathing suit. I realized a few weeks ago that the grandbabies will be old enough this summer for one of the zero-depth–entry pools, or at least for water play.

I'm annoyed with myself for not thinking farther ahead. I should have bought a suit back in the fall, when prices were low during the off-season. Now we're in peak season here, which means peak prices. Grrrr. 🤦🏻‍♀️

I found a pair of swim shorts on Amazon; now I'm trying to find a tankini-style top I like.
