Oh No! We had a similar thing happen with our kitchen sink on Thanksgiving Day. The sewer line under the (concrete slab) foundation had collapsed. They had to tunnel under the house and replace the line.

I live in fear that may happen here. Hoping your problem turns out to be just a stoppage in the line.

Thanks, @GoodEnuff. Luckily it turned out to be just a minor stoppage that the plumber was able to auger out and we're okay now. I know what you mean about what happened to you. We also had a collapse in the line years ago and were afraid that they were going to have to jackhammer up our floor to get to it but luckily it was outside the house and they only had to break up a sidewalk to get to it. (I hate plumbing problems, sigh.)

Morning all folks!!! I am up at 7am, and the sun is sure bright
today, it is 64F Going into 80's today, slight chance of rain...feell
pretty good this morning, raring to get busy with laundry haha.....
Otherwise got to find eye doc to see about the "crossed eyes"
I seem to have picked up...hope everyone has a decent day!!!:cool::cool::D:love::coffee:

@IrishEyes Maybe it'll be an oh-look-shiny day when you start to do one thing and spy another and another and another thing. Happens to me a lot;)

It was kinda cold again this morning, only 49 when I got up. It's officially 63 right now, but you couldn't prove it by me. Feels pretty darned brisk out there.

I've already done a day's work in the garden. The lawn didn't get mowed yesterday so that will get done this afternoon.

Right now I'm gonna rest a while.
 
A woman came over from the city to talk with/ about my son. His dad came too. My goodness. I'm not used to visitors coming over, other than some teen boys, friends of my sons. My house normally looks like a rabbit cage. No normal couch to sit on. It looked totally normal now. Bought new chairs, carpet, a plaid for the one couch with holes eaten in it and put the rabbits and their stuff on the balcony. Looked totally normal lol, as if I'm a normal person. They were gone 5 minutes, come back in bunnies!

Yesterday was not as fun, or as busy, as I'd anticipated, unfortunately. I wasn't feeling well most of the day (headache, dizziness, body pain) and that put a damper on the fun parts, e.g., movie with boyfriend and Game 7 of the first round Stanley Cup playoffs.
(Montreal won it over the Lightning by a goal. That whole series was close.)

Oh well. Today is better and things are unfolding as they should. Husband and I will likely be watching hockey most nights throughout the playoffs.

Right now, I'm hanging out with boyfriend and catching up here. :)
 
Lawn mowed and stuff fertilized.

DD took me to the garden center to get plants. They're my Mother's Day gift(s). Pentas. They aren't going to get planted until tomorrow morning because I'm plumb worn out.

These days if whatever needs doing doesn't get done in the morning, it doesn't get done until the next day. Or the next. By noon, I've run out of steam and can't do anything more. I hate being old.

Many years ago, just before getting an aura migraine .. my eyes felt like they were crossing. The only way I could stop it, was to lie down with my eyes closed.

I wish you well with your eye doctor's appointment.
