Gentle posts for gentle folks

@PeppermintPatty - Probably wise to skip the walk today due to the medication. Need to be near a bathroom!

I can only speak for myself but I never felt anything during the procedure. I was very nervous and the young male nurse who was attending was about the same age as my son and I felt a little embarrassed at first. But once they gave me the sedative I couldn't have cared less, I really couldn't. Also, although I was still awake it was almost dreamlike. Had a cuppa and slice of toast afterwards.

Thank you for taking the time to write all that out for me. I don’t take any laxatives ( meds ) until 4:00 this afternoon. I don’t normally eat anything during the day until 2 or 3:00 in the afternoons so today isn’t too bad for me. I went for a walk and had to pee so I just found a private spot and peed. Lol.

Apparently according to everything I’ve read is that the bowl doesn’t have any nerve ending so getting polyps removed doesn’t hurt. Most people say it’s not a big deal. They say that doing the prep for the surgery is the hardest part. Hopefully it will go well with no issues. My husband will be waiting for me.
Wish me luck. ♥️🙏

Good Afternoon, Kaila and Friends. 🤗 :coffee: 🐝

The day is going well: nice weather for the walks, good company, etc. :)

Hockey was really good last night! Fun to watch. Ooo, I'm proud of myself today because I actually did my journaling and workbooks! I've been away from that since being sick in February. It's nice to be getting back to it.

@Kaila, your daffodils are truly beautiful. I love that you share them with us. 🥰

Oh, I was going to reassure you that i too, had to enlarge it, but i was so highly motivated and focused on finding out what it said, that i did it unconsciously.

Me too! LOL Kate posts some funny things so, I really wanted to read it. ;)

@Pam, glad the Snooker was fun. :) --Yes, everything crossed for the Hammers at this point. Thanks, Pam 🤗

---Husband is doing better yet today. 😊

@PeppermintPatty, I've had two of these and it's absolutely true that the prep is the difficult part (and it's really not all that bad). You're going to be just fine. ❤️

Coffee, anyone?
