I am flying to Melbourne tomorrow morning - 14th April

I have been to Australia, but only for a few days while on business. I really didn’t get to see much of the country and would really like to go back on my time and stay as long as I liked. We were in Sydney and stayed at an American hotel. The food was very good, especially the fresh fish and other seafood. Does Australia grow their own beef or is it imported? It did taste different. We did manage to go to the hotel’s nightclub. The music was fine and they also played some American music, as well. Plenty of blondes over there.

I would also like to explore the outback and take plenty of pictures, especially of the wildlife. I would probably hire a guide.
I would also enjoy going back to Singapore. They have a lot of beautiful women in that country. I remember being there and our escort stopped to show us a bow and arrow contest. Those people that were shooting were exceptionally good shooters.

Australia is a big Beef producing country, with 28 million of the beasts.
We exported 781,176 cattle in the 2024/25 financial year. 500,000 of them to Indonesia

I will be moving to Melbourne permanently.
My recce to Melbourne was very successful.
My host and I got along very well. No negative issues were forthcoming, and it seems that we are well suited to living under the same roof.
Large two storey, 4-bedroom home. The upper floor will be mine. My bedroom has an ensuite, a large office/entertainment area at the top of the landing. (this is where I will have my music playing)
We will share the kitchen, cooking for each other.
Outdoors there is a two-car garage and plenty of room for me to potter around in the garden.
A large shopping centre is 300 metres away; a public transport hub is at the shopping centre.
Melbourne CBD is 25km away, St Kilda Beach, 20km, Dandenong Ranges National Park, 17km, Mornington Peninsular, 45km, Phillip Island, 100+km.
I am excited for this move for two reasons mostly, a new beginning, I stagnated in Perth, being there for 38 years, and to get away from the relentless, oppressive summertime heat.
It is easier to keep warm than it is to cool down.
The move will happen late May, early June.
Driving across Australia via Albany, Esperance, along the Nullarbor Plain, Port Lincoln, Victor Harbour and onwards to Melbourne.
The trip will take at least 10 days as we will be staying overnight at the places mentioned and a couple of places between Norseman and Ceduna.

You realise the only real downer regarding moving to Victoria ( Melbourne ) @Bretrick ……is they are known to have 4 seasons in one day :ROFLMAO:

so you need to carry a umbrella / raincoat/ sunscreen / jumper / and a t shirt and shorts incase it gets to hot 🤣in the middle of winter
Yep. Done that. I was the only person carrying an umbrella one day. It never rained, but at least I was prepared. :)
Rugging up in winter has it's drawbacks. There I was, all rugged up, got on a tram and was too hot.
