How are you today?

After our Aldi run, DD dropped me off at home so I could put the frozen and fridge stuff away. Then she and DGD went off to do the rest of their errands. They went to WM and found another orange double begonia and bought it for me. Woohoo and stuff. It's already planted.

When y'all shop at Aldi, absolutely do get some gelato! This morning we also scored some 90/10 ground beef at 30% off. We hardly ever find the marked down meat, so when we see it, we grab it. It's usually gone before we're there. I dunno if our store marks it down before closing or first thing in the morning...probably do it whenever they've got staff available, so it's pretty much a crapshoot.

I've got to harvest more garlic today while its dry and before it rains again.
Amazing what I've learned in the past five months on a variety of subjects. 🤔
 
Dear me, OMG, my stars and garters and shitohdear, etc. It occurred to me that 68 years ago today was graduation day. How can that be? 68?

After 8am graduation practice, I went home and cut out and sewed my graduation dress. Dang! If only we could have gotten away with wearing Levi's and sneakers in those days. I could've saved a buncha money and been more comfortable. LOL

I did something this morning I try never to do and now I know why that is a good rule.
I was pouring feed from the bigger bag into the smaller one --- bending from my waist
instead of squatting.
Hot pain shot out, stars were all over the place and felt like I was going to pass out.
Still a bit shaky but standing doesn't hurt but I do get resistance when sitting.
I was going to mow the front yard while DH was at work but not sure about it now.
Ice packs or heating pads?

If either it would be a heating pad for me. I can't take ice on my back. I can take Ibuprofen.
 
Last year, I had an IRA account at a bank that was taken over by a larger bank. Since I only found negative information about the new bank, I closed my account last August. The next month, I received a statement showing a zero balance, which was fine, as it documented my records, and I filed it away. Ever since then, I continue receiving zero bank statements. In this age when few companies like sending paper, I find it really odd.

Yesterday, I received another zero statement and a form 5498 (for IRA accounts) showing a zero balance, my social, my (former) bank a/c number, but none of the other fields were filled in. It said, "This notice is being provided to the Internal Revenue Service." That last part bothered me a bit, since it may unnecessarily draw unwanted attention from the IRS. I called the bank at the phone number on the form, held for 20 minutes, then got a dim wit who offered no explanation and was zero helpful. Finally just filed it all away. I suppose I'll get zero statements from now on.

Morning all folks!!! Been up a few hours....Cloudy sky but 72 degF, heading
to 85F later, just a chance of rain later on....Slept poorly again but so what!!
Feeling okay but very shaky yest and today, I'm using the nebulyzer more
due to this heat, so that is at least part of the shakes.....ah well...got some
mental stuff going on too....but don't we all in some form?!! Catch you

i always use my breathing treatments more in the summertime. the heat is just smothering. especially the humidity. those meds give me the shakes too. if people at work ask about my hands shaking i tell them i'm on the verge of a nervous breakdown. :ROFLMAO:

doing ok here today. waiting to go to my 6 mo checkup. then back home to update my fortnite game and check out what's new with the update. i have dishes to do as well. can't hardly wait til tomorrow for the new episode of dutton ranch.
 
I'm fine.

Except.... I have to be honest, I'm a 50F kind of guy. I'm most definitely not a 80F. At this heat I slow down to a crawl, and I lose the will to move about.

I just read that it's been 112F, with evenings in the 90's, in parts of India. I think that would finish me off.
