2015 was my lucky year

First I flew off and overpass in complete darkness. I would like to say that as the end of my life lay before me I said or thought of something deep and profound, but alas my last words would have been " Oh sh%t". That totaled my truck. My ex husband came to the scene with my kids and had my truck towed and gave me another truck. I was unscathed.

Secondly, my house burned down with all my pets in it. Also burned my new car which was parked close to the house I was able to escape and I'm alive.
My has had our old place newly remodeled and gave me a new car.

I had to have a heart procedure done and it turned out ok and I'm alive.

I got in a car wreck and fractured the C2 in my neck. The doctor said I was very lucky. My ex's new wife was the first to the hospital and she was amazingly kind offering me help. Discovered my insurance had been canceled 6 days before the wreck. I was going to lose my license over that but my ex gave me 15 thousand dollars to pay off the guy & now I can keep my license. He gave me a new car.

A week after my car wreck I had emergency gall bladder surgery. My gall bladder didn't burst & it turned out okay.

The next week I fell down the stairs and sprained my ankle.

One day I was speaking to my sister on the phone and she said " OMG you've had such bad luck this year!" I told her " No, this has been my luckiest year. I have cheated death several times & I have the best ex husband & new wife in the world!"

So really I think 2015 was really a lucky year for me ;)

Good point -- it WAS a lucky year for you (in spite of all t he awful things that happened to you)!

I almost didn't make it out because I couldn't get my darling chihuahua. I did get my 2 chocolate labs out, but they ran back in when they heard the chihuahua's one cry. So, then I lost them all. That was the hardest thing of all. I've had so much survivors guilt over losing them.
 
I'm so sorry Sharon, wow that must have been hard to take. Don't have survivor's guilt though. It wasn't your fault. You do have another chihuahua now don't you? If you believe in re-incarnation maybe your current little dog has the soul of your other one.
