Chicago Stock Exchange To Be Sold To China Investment Group.

There are issues all around. They even note it might be easier for Chinese companies to get a listing on a US stock exchange. Theoretically that should keep them under SEC rules of reporting & disclosure but that isn't as strong as it should be as-is. Unless one is familiar with the form numbers or read the generic filings/forms foreign companies file under it can be tough to follow a foreign owned company. One can get kicked off a US exhange pretty easy. What would foreign ownership do to treatment of foreign or US companies. The SEC might not be enough.
