Saturday Night Live: Bern Your Enthusiasm

I've been watching SNL since it debuted back in the 70s. And I was a huge Curb Your Enthusiasm fan when it was on HBO. Last night, the host of SNL was none other than Larry David. You might enjoy this parody of Larry David as Bernie Sanders if you too were a fan of Curb. If you never watched the show, this clip won't mean as much, but I loved the skit.
 

Never saw his show but I saw the skit. Clever and timely. SNL simply isn't consistent enough anymore. I watch the opening and the first sketch or short film after and the "news" but even the news is going flat.
 
I never watch SNL anymore, not as funny as it used to be back in the day. I was a big fan of Curb Your Enthusiasm though, so thanks for posting this Bob. Sooo funny about the 2% in the end! :p
 

Back in the 70's, before tv recorders were commonplace, Saturday evenings had to be arranged around whether you could get home by 11:30 or would stay out at someone's house until 1:00 a.m. because you WERE.NOT going to miss Saturday Night Live. If you did, Monday morning everybody would be yapping about whatever buzzword/phrase was catching the world on fire.....BUUUUT NOOOOOOOO!!!....CANDYGRAM!......AS GRANDMA ROSANNADANNA USED TO SAY......as you'd be out of the loop. Wasn't going to happen, no way, huh-uh. BUUUUT NOOOOOO......
