I was not sure which section to post this in.

I was too lazy to get up and find my remote, so forensic files is on. On this particular show they are talking about a serial killer that killed prostitutes in Dallas. They just showed a crime photo of the victim lying nude and bloody on her side in the street next to a walk. Her private parts are not exposed in the photo, nor her breasts, but nonetheless she is nude and bloody on her side. As I saw that I thought how I would absolutely hate the thought of the public viewing my dead naked body photos after I was dead had it happened to me.
What do you think? Disrespectful to the dead or not? The fact that she was a prostitute makes no difference to me. She was a human being with family members.
 

Of course it was disrespectful! Killing in the first place is the biggest act of disrespectfullness someone can do. Then to leave a body naked adds insult to injury!! The man who did it was a real bastard!! I watched it, too.
 
Wouldn't matter to me (if it was my dead body) but it would deeply hurt and anger my sons and grandchildren, in fact a chalk outline would effect them horribly.

A man here in the US said he became extremely emotional when he saw an image of his 17-yr old son lying dead beside a railroad track, surrounded by police, on a Google Earth (?) satellite view map. He contacted Google Earth to request they remove the image, and they were kind enough to obliterate it, then later updated the map.

Yes. I can't imagine how horrifying to see one's parent or child lying there like that
