Her real name was Joanie Laurer. Foul play is not suspected, but actual cause of death still unknown

Apparently her drug problems got so bad she wound up on Celebrity Rehab. I think there is a great possibility of steroid use or past use that affected her as well. Too many steroids start causing the body to cut off the production of it's own hormones and not just the ones the steroids are for. This could cause mood swings. Supposedly they only found prescriped medication on scene. A doctor could've been treating for depression but was she honest with her docs about steroid use? Sad

Should add a sidenote. Many of have blamed Dr Drew for his success or failure rate on Celebrity Rehab. One trip to rehab to doesn't make a person change their ways. I've worked with people who were given three trips to rehab/chances before they got fired for substance abuse loosing a well paying union job. I'll be the first to admit that 'rehab' has become an industry in the US but sooner or later the alcoholic or drug addict has to personally decide to get and stay clean. Until they really really want to be and stay clean all the 'rehab' in the world won't help. Just look at the epilogues on shows like Intervention of relapsing addicts sometimes years later when they do a follow up.
