Early Visitors

For those of you that believe that we have had early visitors..

Over 3,000 years ago King Tut was buried in Egypt’s Valley of the Kings with a dagger resting on his right thigh. As if this ancient story wasn’t fascinating enough, scientists have discovered that the blade of the dagger is made of iron from space.

The story>>>>KING TUT'S DAGGER

I like to watch the Science Channel...and the topics discussed there make a strong case for showing that virtually Everything we have on this planet is the result of meteors and comets slamming into Earth millions and billions of years ago. Water...especially...came to this planet as a result of millions of icy comet impacts. Scientific evidence kind of contrasts with "the earth was created in 6 days".

Not necessarily. I read of a lot of scientists agreeing more and more with the creation story in the Bible.

I never heard that story about how water came to earth before. The story I was taught can be found in Genesis 1:2, 6-7. 9-10. A much more personal history. Works for me! :)

For those who subscribe to the biblical narratives, it is not surprising that earth was visited by "aliens". We see in Genesis, chapter six, that the Sons of God looked upon the daughters of men, were attracted to their beauty, and bore children with them, who became the "mighty men of renown", giants, or the Nephilim. But because this resulted in corruption and violence, God decided He would have to destroy the inhabitants because the "thoughts and intents of the heart was evil continually". So the flood was necessary. Its no wonder that King Tut, who died at a young age, needed to have his dagger with him in his tomb.

The pyramids were built so that the Egyptian could attain eternal life, and so the dagger was needed to ward off intruders.

Then there's also that one reference in Ezekiel 1 which talks about creatures with faces like men and wheels within a wheel and flashing lights and many other details! Remarkable and fascinating.

Here's a link to the description of these visitors. http://biblehub.com/niv/ezekiel/1.htm

I believe I've also seen tv shows talking about how UFO's appear in several medieval paintings.

That's amazing isn't it? The next to last paragraph is one of the best descriptions of what God looks like, but I still can't fully conceive of it.

Speaking of driverless automobiles, maybe there is one when we get to heaven that is totally controlled by our spirit (our will) as described there.

Iron working dates back to 5000bc in Africa. Long before King Tut. The interest here is the content of meteoric iron. Nothing new about iron arriving on meteors. No indication of aliens here. I have a book of King Tuts treasures that I bought during its tour of the US years back. Always loved this dagger. A beautiful piece of work among many created by some very talented human beings.

If I remember correctly, the description that Ezekiel gives resembles a description that Robert Monroe offered as a result of an out of body experience he had where he also believes he saw a greater being. I think he did refer to this being as God, however it should be noted that Monroe was not a religious man and hadn't been raised in a religious household.
