I use to play music in the background when working but for the past few years I have been listening to podcasts instead. Just wondering if anyone else listens to podcasts and what their favorites are. I am subscribed to around 30 but many are tech related or centered around specific TV shows I watch. Here are a few of my favorites that are not in that category.

1)Dan Carlin's Hardcore History/Common Sense -Host's interpretation of historical events from all points in time

2)You Must Remember This -History of the movie studios and movie stars

3)Stuff They Don't Want You to Know -Conspiracy type of podcast but nothing is too crazy or off the wall

4)Stuff You Missed in History Class-Short episodes about events in history that aren't well known. History of margarine is one of my favorites.

5)The Tony Kornheiser Show-Daily podcast from my favorite curmudgeon. You may know him as one of the hosts on the PTI show.

6)Presidential-Podcast about every past President of the US.

I used to listen to way too many, so have pared down my listening to two:

The Treatment from KCRW (film commentary and interviews with Elvis Mitchell)
Radiolab (I've always had a thing for Robert Krulwich)

Thank you for the suggestions. I will give them a try :)
