Yup That is Disturbing

Some people might welcome that wet willie. :playful: I'm not a big country fan, but he has some good music, one example.

I always liked him, I listen to him on Pandora and sometimes Willies Roadhouse on Sirius radio. He is an original cool guy--smokes pot in his bus and doesn't give a rats tail what anyone thinks of him. Simple man, big heart and lots of talent. Was writing songs long before he was known--he wrote songs like "Crazy" that Patsy Cline made such a hit. He has written more songs than any other person I have heard of! I think he has been busted over the years a few times but now they leave him alone. He has named his guitar "Trigger", a worn acoustical that still has fantastic sound. That will be in a museum one day, I am sure!

But do you really want to get up close frisky??? I mean "You Were Always on My Mind" makes me cry...do I want to make love? Uh Welll

Hahaha nooo. That pic was when he was a bit younger, I do believe. I don't think he ever thought of himself as a sex symbol--if anything, it's his way of being devilish. That's how I take it, I have seen the pic before and I just laughed. He has a unique and funny attitude towards life-very unpretentious. That is why I like him, he is a country legend. Not a sex symbol, no no no! I think he hit 80 this year!

83? I thought I read somewhere recently he was turning 80. Ha. Maybe not, I might be thinking of someone else. I admire the man for his humility, great talent, and for that marvelous attitude.

It's just a joke, play on words. A Wet Willie is when someone licks their finger and puts it in your ear, something you'd hear on SouthPark. No disrespect to Willie Nelson, but young or old I personally wouldn't be interested, nice for a friend maybe, but not a lover.

Actually I read this discussion once, but it was about a Southern rock band named...Apparently in the South it's the thing with the ear, a harmless prank. But when they toured the UK folks were appalled.

Willie is a great songwriter. He's written and sung many top 100 Country hits. The best part about his music is that when playing his songs, (for the most part), they are very easy to learn in a short amount of time.

Isn't she sweet? Willie made her day, that's for sure. He doesn't do these things for fame--I have heard stories of him where people call him up and ask him to duet. He asks where and when.
