California is finally getting some rain....

Friday night`s football game was a muddy mess. Coach says in all his years of coaching here (20+)he`s never seen one this muddy. This is our grandson Alex after the game...I asked him "Isn`t the QB supposed to stay clean?".....

Here in the High Desert we've got big black wicked looking clouds hanging over the area, but only sporadic light momentary sprinkles. We did get some significant rainfall(maybe 1/2") several days ago...been a-while.

Well,this happens in California on a regular basis so I don`t really think anything is changing. But this has been a longer than usual drought. Hoping this is the end of it-it is unusual for us to get this much rain this early on. But the pattern over the last few years has been earlier than usual rain (although not this early) and then far less than normal for the rest of the season.
 
Good to hear that Mrs. R, great picture of Alex too! We've been dry as a bone here, but nothing like what California has been dealing with.
 
Wow. What's that detergent they used to advertise for muddy uniforms, Cheer, was it? No way will that uniform clean up!

Don`t laugh,but what they have to do when the unis are this badly mud-caked is take them to the do-it-yourself car wash and hose them down with the power sprayer. You wouldn`t want to wash it in your own washer when it looks like this lol.
