An Example of Good Karma

I've worked in retail for many years...if I can help someone out I will happily do it. Even just in everyday life it feels good to make somebody's day special when you can. I was at the mall this afternoon with my daughter. I think I left the headlights on and when we got out the battery was shot. Security came and tried to jump it. Still wouldn't turn over.

Younger son doesn't have his license yet and my husband was in a rush at work. I didn't even have enough change for the bus. Walking home? I can't expect my daughter to hoof ten or twenty miles in the cold. Even for me that would be a stretch. But left without options I was in the car rustling up change for bus fare.

Suddenly someone tapped on the window glass. A security guard, young...maybe 25, but so very sweet. He said " I'll help you out with getting home, it's cold out here". I don't know if the guards passed the hat or he was just a special guy. But he called Uber and paid for us to get dropped at our doorstep. I left a thank you on their website.

I believe in good karma, you get what you give. Glad you got some help Fur, lots of good people in this world still.....they just don't make the headlines. Kudos for acknowledging it on their website. I've called stores and reported to a manager when I received good service from an employee, I think it's important to give the ones who care some noted thanks.

I couldn't agree more. Such form of thanks can also encourage more people to be sensitive to misfortune of those around them.
