A dead man was found in his car in Ft Lauderdale Florida with several days worth of parking tickets on his windshield. Two tickets were written with in 3 minutes.

His tickets worth of $160 were forgiven. How nice.

Meter maids filling a quota or chasing a bonus that don't want their daily routine messed with including giving statements to the police. I hope they id the meter maids. Is not reporting a dead body a suspendable offense?

I'm surprised with the vehicle being with in three blocks of the county courthouse that it didn't raise law enforcement's curiosity. I wonder if the windows were tinted.

Some of those tinted windows are quite dark, illegal in other states. Glad they took back the tickets, darn nice of them!

As a former firefighter and EMT, it would occur to me to look inside the car in case there's a problem.

I didn't read the article, but I hope that it wasn't a police officer that did the ticketing.
