I just came in from shoveling snow for the first time this year and it's still coming down.....not sure what the official amount is for my area but I just shoveled what looked to be right at 3" off the driveway, sidewalk and my pickup, the gal on TV just said we'll more than likely get another 1" to 2".

I only went out to shovel just mama's half of the driveway but once I got started I just kept on going and did everything which took a little over one hour......oh, and it's plum nippy outside also we're at 14 deg. with a windchill of 2 deg.

They said it was coming last night when I watched weather but jeez I hate it when the weatherman is right. :)

IKE are you in Northern OK or southern OK?

Oh ok then we probably won't get any snow. I thought if you were south it might head down here. Thanks.

Weatherguessers are saying we down here (North of Dallas) may get a "dusting" about noon!!!

We just had a dusting of light fluffy snow yesterday....I was able to quickly clear it off the decks with just the leaf blower. However, the temperatures have taken a dive, and we will probably have 4 or 5 days of below freezing temperatures....it was 3(F) when I got up this morning.

We got around 4 inches by me yesterday, snowed lightly the whole night before, below zero temps at night. We kept the pup home yesterday because it was also 14 degrees when we went to the park, too cold for his young paws. Today the sun is out, so it'll be a bit warmer, right now it's 20 degrees, a real heat wave! :D

Ours has been laid for about three weeks now and is still scheduled for more. They say BC Canada gets a good snow every seven years and it has been seven since the last load. Last year my part of BC got half a day and that was it. I am usually picking winter veggies but this year they are all covered.

This continuing winter storm is dubbed "HELENA". It is packing a lot of power so far, all over the country! Just crossed my mind......was it named after HELEN Ready's song "I am Woman Hear Me Roar" ??? LOL. But seriously, I live in the Sierra mountain range in CA at elevation 6200. Yesterday this area got dumped with about a foot of heavy slushy snow. Last night the temp dipped to 7 degrees so all that slushy stuff froze into concrete. More heavy snow and rain is being predicted for this weekend, and major flooding is expected because of snow (concrete) melt. Could spell disaster for lower elevations.

IKE, I have friends in Oklahoma City. May you all stay safe and warm.

Dallas got about .01" of dusting...News reports 215 "incidents" on city highways!!! Fort Worth report 70 "accidents" !!!

Ken, we probably ended up with a total of around 3.5".

The thing now is the bone chilling cold........it's 0 deg. now with a -10 deg. windchill.

Ken my daughter got some light snow in Arlington, but I'm south of there in the country about 40 minutes away and I didn't see any snow that I'm aware of. It has gotten nippy though.

It snowed close to us about 30 minutes away yesterday, but I didn't get any snow here. It's chilly right now but very sunny . I like to see snow because it's rare. I used to have the funniest picture I had taken on my old computer of this snowman in the guys yard down the street. It had snowed so little that they had to scrape from all over their yard to get enough snow to build it and it was all MUDDY :D

We are total electric in our house, the power went off at 6:40AM and did not come back until 4:30PM!! It was 9 degrees when it went out and 37 when it came back on!! We sat around the house with blankets wrapped around us all that time!!!
