Cable TV Channels Changed

I turned on my TV today to watch "my programs" and was unpleasantly surprised that the channel had been changed. It went from an entertaining channel to a channel of continuous infomercials. I tried several others and found one other channel that had been changed to another network. I was not notified of these changes.

Our local cable service company was bought out recently. Unlike the old company, the new administration is very lax with informing customers about changes. Their message board had several complaints about it this morning, but no contrite answers from the "powers that be".

Within the past year 3 channels I used to watch changed formats, without notice, to 24/7 televangelism. Two were independent channels so I guess this change can happen without warning. I hate it though. I'm getting so much less for my money.

How rude of them. Try channel surfing a bit; maybe you'll find something new you like.
