Hello, My name is Catherine Foster. I am a professional gallery artist in my 60+ years. I love helping people open up to their creativity no matter what age they are. Life and fun do not stop just because we become older. My goal is to keep painting and creating into my 100+ years.

Love laughing, dancing, singing , painting being creative. Also love helping others thrive in this world. The last few years of the mortgage problems in the US but a crunch on our retirement fund for my husband and myself. So I search other ways that artists and seniors can receive extra income and also have fun online meeting others who are in the same situation. :love_heart:
 

Hi Catherine, welcome to the forum. :welcome:

I paint when the mood takes me, never more than hobby level though. 'Over' oils, just use acrylics now, but was never into the song and dance thing. No talent at all in those departments but glad you live life doing what you enjoy.
 

Welcome Catherine. Join in the conversations and show us some of your creations. I have several friends who are good artists. I'm more into building things. :welcome:

BTW where are you from? We have people from all over on this forum.
 
I am not creative; but sometimes envy those who are!

I have artistic talent in my family but it seems I only inherited half of it...I always dreamed of painting but the talent isn't there.

Thank you everyone for all the welcomes. What a fun group.
I believe that everyone is creative .. it is not just about painting, sculpture, dance, music etc. that people can live creatively. It is a frame of mind and allowing intuition to guide one. For me being creative enriches my life experience.

Which speaking of, I need to work in the art studio today to finish some work to deliver. AGain I thank everyone for their kind welcomes.

OH, You remembered. Yes I did make many illustrations for Parke-Davis in their monthly periodical Theraputic Notes.

Mostly regarding the new heart-lung machine where the heart is actually stopped so the required surgery could
take place. Usually tightening up the aortic valve in "aortic stenosis".

Sadly I missed out on the artistic gene somewhere along the line.....
Have painted quite a few walls while renovating though.....:playful:

I 'm not in the least creative. I've tried everything. I've spent a lifetime, trying to learn to write and how to retire.
